Yes. I went no contact with my sis because she discarded me for the 100th time in our lifetime. She always made contact. I went back, feeling sorry for her. After the last discard, I blocked my cell. She started calling my landline to demand the return of gifts that she insisted I take and didn’t want. I had the gifts delivered to her. I told her to stop contacting me. I changed my landline number, but I know she isn’t done. She’s demanding the return of something that I wasn’t given. I don’t even know what she’s talking about. It’s a complete fabrication. She will appear at my door or possibly serve me to appear in court to return a gift? I guess the burden of proof lies with her. Ugh! There is no reasoning with her. She loves chaos and drama. I only want to be left alone.

This is so true. My ex-husband used to create a drama in order to buy himself a new car or computer. I realized this early on but then it took me another 8 years to get out of this marriage so as not to be homeless. I should have just thrown him out and gotten a roommate.

I tell my husband at least once a week “ You’re making that up about me and it’s not true. Why? Why do that? You don’t know me at all”. And I taught my daughters that what someone else says tells you who they are and it has nothing to do with who you are.
