@1:28 My proposal is to have a two stage air conditioning system that has an evaporative cooler as the first stage (swamp cooler) and a conventional air conditioner as the second stage.
The swamp cooler could be used when the temperature outside is not too hot.
It should help save on fuel by cooling the air intake to the conventional air conditioner (when needed).
It would have a freeze warning in case it is forgotten to drain the evaporative cooler
during freezing weather.

It makes sense that more people buy a prius than a diesel since the fuel costs are lower.

I just wondering the other day how much the 1-2 gallons of windshield washer fluid, that I rarely use,   has cost me over the 17 year life of my Camry. It's only a few pounds, but it all adds up.

If you want to save 40 pounds from your cars' weight (i.e. junk in the trunk), carry less fuel. Each gallon weighs about 6 pounds. If your car has a 20 gallon tank, you will save about 60 pounds by never filling it above 1/2.
I am not seriously suggesting this - I am just sayin'...

How does Hawaii have an extreme climate? It doesn't get below 60 or over 90 Fahrenheit. I'm calling bullshit.

How can my truck have much better fuel economy in the winter than the summer?

This video has basically said Diesels are more economical for fuel mileage but less worth it for price. Kind of like saying well done for getting off death row but you're going to die anyway.

When you talk about fuel efficiency, there's so much BS that it makes palm readers jealous. Oh, Mr. Cooley.

Most of these are not myths, since they actually save fuel. ALSO I received a diesel truck for free, and fill up on high performance renewable for 2.79 a gallon, while 87 unleaded costs 3.49. Combined with 23 mpg, tell me how driving my diesel is more expensive?

sure you pay more for a diesel but then the resale value is higher so it the same and the price of fuel has to be 30% more because you get 30% better gas mileage over a gas car
