“If you’re looking for a role that’s gonna provoke you...”

Most honest line about this entire video

Saying "Hello, Sir, how can I help you?" everyday 100 times is an exciting job? LMAO

These people have NEVER worked in a call center a day in their lives.

I used to work at a att call center, I was miserable and I hated having to go to work there. It was just a job for me and I needed one. There is nothing rewarding about answering hundreds of calls from angry customers. I worked for the retention call center in houston. Never again!!!!

Best part of the job is getting cussed out

Call centers are a difficult place to work. I've worked in several when I was laid off from an airline job. Or when I needed a part-time job. Some employees have worked in them for years. I give them credit for being able to stick it out, because the calls can be a strain at times. Not to mention constantly being monitored by supervisors.

No one has fun doing this. It's all an act.

These people giving the interviews were probably outside consultants or officers who either never spent a day on the phones at all or haven’t held a call center position in over a decade.

What they don’t tell you is that you’ll be working second or third shifts, weekends and holidays, will never see your family or friends again because you are chained to your desk at all times, are under immense pressure, dealing with rude and angry customers who can’t do basic math or browser navigation, and are threatened with constant discipline and/or termination if you can’t meet the impossibly high metrics.

NEVER take a call Center job unless you are in 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 dire straits and have absolutely no other option. And even then, you should be looking for an exit as quickly as possibly the second you set foot in that training room.

It's crazy how they make this commercials sound like heaven on earth and everyone looks so happy but they should really put people that is on the border of crying and wanting to run away and never look back because call centers are the worse place to work at

I just hope that the management understands that a change must be done on how they manage their call centers in a way that they understands how to be human

Also they don’t tell you truth, if your numbers (metrics) aren’t good you’re fired

they try and make it seem as everyone's happy there...just wait till you hit the floor and you're only happy day is payday.. management made that job the most stressful job EVER

The call center wouldn’t be so bad if AT&T didn’t sell stupid landlines. The job however pays really well. $75k easily. Just show up and don’t be late.

LMAO those call center employees look like execs in suits.

Highest turnover ever!!!! They don’t give you many chances before you’re fired for not having your “talk time” with customers under a certain minute every month....but yet they want you to ensure the customers needs are met....this company is garbage!!!!
