In this video, I’ll tell you ten different ways to increase bile for better digestion. Bile is made in the liver and then stored in your gallbladder.

The purpose of your gallbladder is to concentrate the bile to make digesting fats effectively, thus allowing your body to extract fat-soluble vitamins and essential fatty acids from the fat you eat. If you don’t have a gallbladder, bile simply trickles from your liver into your intestine and is less effective.

Bile also helps lubricate your colon, and it kills certain bad bacteria along with helping you maintain microbial health.

Here are the ten things you can consume to increase bile production, even if you don’t have a gallbladder:

1. Beet tops
2. Ginger
3. Artichokes
4. Lemon
5. Dandelion
6. Milk thistle
7. Choline
8. Turmeric

Indeed! Dr. Berg gets to the point in a hurry, no 60 minute video that you can't fast-forward or rewind to only answer one teaser question. No bait and switch. Dr. Berg is more precious than the Golden Wedge of Ophir!

I do all of the above including enzymes, probiotics, except purified bile salts all these years! My throat always has a film of saliva that’s always very uncomfortable because I keep swallowing and it never seems to go away. Having added purified bile salts recently, just 1 capsule/day was enough to clear the film of saliva on my tongue/throat!

i cannot tell you how important bile is in fact i beliveve it is at the core of most of our health problems.
basicly if the food is not digested properly it creats a kind of sludge which congestes the whole system.
and then we are prone to all kinds of problems which compond over time and become deadly.
al of this stuff about not consuming seed oils and all the other advice from Dr berg is about preventing that from happening.

I've cut out most sugar in my diet. I've also increased my lemon water intake, and sometimes add cut pieces of ginger into my teas.

Hello dr. Berg. I’m nereida Delgado I live in Puerto Rico born in New York. I’m diabetic . I have no gall bladder and my appendix was taken out in 2019. My doctor never told my to use supplements for replacement of bile. I experienced burping terribly for 4 days I thought it was bad food. I looked up the problem and fold I didn’t have enough acid in stomach I started drinking a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in morning before I ate and it helped. And 1 after the meal I do chase it down with water. When I watched your video it made a lot of sense. And I thank you so much for doing the video on gall bladder.

I like to saute beet tops with olive oil and garlic. They are the best tasting greens, to me. All these things are also good for other issues. It's a very healthy diet.

I've been fighting my cholesterol for years. I found your adrenal body type video the other day and whoa did that hit home. Then i watched your video on high cholesterol and the keto diet since I was worried about my cholesterol going any higher on the keto diet. My GP is a very good doctor he let's me try diet and homeopathic treatments i want to try rather than forcing me on a medication but my last visit he asked if i was ready for medicinal assistance with my cholesterol since it was even higher despite me following a low cholesterol diet and increasing my exercise. I told him I'd let him know at my next appointment in August and was considering taking meds. I don't have a working gallbladder and have been known to become over alkaline so i can't wait to see if the keto diet helps with the adrenal exhaustion and the cholesterol. 😊
