Amen. God will give you the peace to move on from someone and I have personal experience with this. Last year, I had a crush on a co-worker of mine. I seriously thought that he and I would date. I prayed about it and God led me to take a two week fast from social media. After those two weeks, God lovingly made it clear that this wasn’t the man He had for me. There was no heartbreak, pain, or despair. Just His peace to move on. God makes His will known to you either way. :)

I’m reading these comments and amazed that SO MANY of us go through the same things! I just had a situation, but realized my issue was deeper than liking this person. I like any and everyone who likes me! I realize That’s a deeper issue, because desire or “like” doesn’t equal value. I need to be valued, because I am valuable. But, that has to be present in me first. As in, I need to know my worth. Knowing your worth causes you not to allow just anyone into your sphere! This is a major personal project for myself. There’s this girl at church that I asked my pastor about. He said it was his wife’s best friend and that he’d talk to his wife about it.

Last I heard was that she’d love to meet me but she’s still not over her last relationship. That was in May.

I called him recently to ask if anything’s changed and haven’t gotten an answer. Next day this video comes out and I’m thinking it’s time to move on.
