It’s crazy no one here is talking about “the hidden herbs” by Anette Ray…

If i eat to many carbs i crave them and i am never full, but if i eat low-carb, higher protein and fat then i loose weight comfortably and keep it off and also feel so much better.

Before my carnivore journey, I added it up and was consuming over 400 carbs a day. No wonder I was getting porky 🐷

this is so TRUE. I've struggled for years with diets, I lost weight many times but I was always hungry, and at some point I had enough of starving and I gained weight again. When I diminished carbohydrated (pasta/rice/corn/bread/potatoes, alcool and sugar) I just started losing weight without starving at all. And I just diminished eating those, I still eat pasta, pizza, chocolate, ice creams, cheese and all those things (but with moderation), and my weight has been perfect for years without any struggle (I struggle to gain weight now, which is mindblowing to me, considering how difficult it was to lose weight before).

I could only lose weight on a low-fat diet if I exercised and stayed hungry. On the low-carb or carnivore diet, the weight just falls off without exercise, and I'm only hungry a little before scheduled meals.

I was 290lbs in November 2022 when I decided to embark on my second weightloss journey. This time around I decided to just cut out soda pop, start eating til I was full, and not stuffed. Also, I started walking 10-20 minutes, 3-5 times a week. Didn't see any results until January 2024 but now I'm down to 134lbs as of today, October. 1, 2024. Because I lost the weight gradually, my skin isn't loose, and my face didn't hollow out. I'd recommend what I did to anyone looking to lose weight.

I have lost 31 kilo's over a short period of 4½mths. This weight loss was only possible due to the carnivore diet. I eat 1-2 times per day. Eating more steak equals more weight loss. The perfect meat to fat ratio is 80/20. This new way of life is reversing severe health problems, no longer do I have celiac disease (unless i go back to eating junk food and high carb diet).

On the carnivore, I do not worry about calorie counting. There is not need to do that. I do cut my rump steaks to the size of my hand and crack 2 x sunny side up eggs or have them scrambled in delicious full fat butter.

I won't ever go backwards again. This way of life sustains my personal health and nutritional needs. I understand everyone's body reacts differently to diets, I've just found that the carnivore diet works for me.

For those who are trying to look after their health, you need to pat yourself on the back. You have taken the most vital step towards doing what is best for you. Don't stop trying to find what works for you.

This is true. The pounds never budged until I limited carbs to less than 50 grams a day. This was regardless of how many calories I ate or how much I exercised. Low carb IS what works!

Been on a 18/6 fasting for a couple months with almost no carbs. Decided to cheat for a few days with pasta and the like and the gout and arthritis came back almost instantly.

For the people who struggle with leaving carbs slowly cut them day by day how a little lower a little lower then eventually your body is fully adapted; Becuase your not gonna shock your body all a sudden and be like day before eating soo many carbs I can’t count then day 2 needle 💉sharp keto that ain’t how it works lower it overtime it will be much easier

Paul Saladino suggests 100g of carbs daily on Animal Base. You can have carbs and interestingly enough you avoid most carbs when you cut out ultra processed food and added sugar.

Was doinf restriction. 1200 cal a day after a couple mo i had no wt liss, was started on glp1...had a significant increase daytime sleepiness. Days 2&3 after the shot i would literally sleep like 17 hours and it was a struggle to be awake for 5 or 6 hr. Then i was told to increase my carbs...my appetite became crazy, like im ravenously hungry. I need to simply go back to keto. I need the strength and energy to do it.

I read a story about people locked in a gulag under Stalin. They were barely fed of course, but their food was mostly bread and potatoes and they said they were continuously hungry. While a soldier who did 6 weeks of survival training, eating ants and primarily protein to survive said that he started off hungry, but the hunger goes away after a while. This indicates to me that complex carbs such as bread, make you hungry.

I believe most people are deficient in vitamin B1 so by supplementing with it that will help curb your cravings and make you feel better. Slowly remove the carbs and eat more whole foods that will satisfy you.

I've lost a lot of weight before (35-40 lbs in 3 months) by cutting out fat and I never went hungry. Lots of pasta w/low red sauce, lots of meat/veggie sandwiches with wheat bread, broiled chicken, soups or anything really that didn't contain a lot of (or any) fat. I didn't count calories, carbs or anything else - just cut the fat. Also didn't care how much sugar was involved. Of course, I was much younger then and I had a fairly physical job, plus I was working out 4 times a week but I got in really good shape fairly quickly and never went hungry once. I'm sorry but to say "the only way to lose weight is by either cutting carbs enough" or starving yourself is simply not true. That wasn't my experience anyway.

I've been attempting carnivore for a few weeks now (still in a dirty-ish phase), and am beginning to see some benefits so I will continue. I will say cutting fat seems like an easier approach to me than cutting carbs from a convenience standpoint but I'm hoping carnivore is healthier for me and I can't do the same level of exercise from 30 years ago. (Bacon gets bonus points.) I want to lose weight but also take care of a few other issues - would love to ditch my BP meds. Wish me luck. :)

I don't eat carbs at all and no sugar, I eat twice a day (afternoon last meal) and I'm still not losing weight.
But I do feel amazing! No inflammation anymore

I am having to eat an egg a day and lots of lettuce to lose weight. Just no carbs not doing it anymore.
