Only speaking on 2, healing and tongues: I had a torn ligament, i asked for healing in my head, the preacher stopped and said god told him someone needing healing for a ligament, you are healed. My torn spot got warm, and it was working again. And tongues, someone was babbling on in tongues in church like usual. A Russian missionary was visiting. He said the person was speaking in his local village dialect, and it was a prayer.

Lived experiences are something else.

It's really not a difficult question. Those who are born again believers and are obedient to our Saviors commands have seen the miracles as he promised. I know I cannot cast out demons but He has thru me. I cannot heal the sick, but he has thru me. Forget debating theology, be obedient and see His truth manifest!

I could not be a cessationist if I tried! I have seen the spiritual gifts THROUGHOUT my walk with Christ, experienced them myself & I believe God when HE SAYS that HE IS THE SAME yesterday, today & forever! He is unchanging. We have changed, our cultural perimeters change, ideas, perceptions, etc change but He does not, His character & His wonder working power is still, (thank God!), working within His body on this earth until the perfect day of the Lord arrives. I truly admire both John Piper and John MacArthur. The depth of thought that they both display... i know that until my dying breath, i can never achieve. And their unparalleled love for God and His Word. They will receive their treasures in heaven in due course. All glory to God!

I can testify of three miracles:

1. My leg was broken in a motorcycle accident, and would not heal for three years. The bone on each side of the break was dead, which means they would have had to cut the bone back to where it is alive, for it to join. God healed my leg during a healing seminar, when someone laid hands on me.
2. I had asthma and during a supernatural encounter with God, He healed my lungs without anyone laying hands on me. It was a sovereign act if God...
3. During the above mentioned encounter with God, He spoke to me for hours. First God the Father, then Jesus, then the Holy Spirit. As vividly as you'd speak to another human being. He healed me of many types of addictions, of which smoking was one, healed my lungs etc. All this, should be impossible in the eyes of a cessationist. God is a living God, and He is not stuck in the Bible. Just as He spoke to His people in the OT, He still speaks to this people, in the NT. He does not change.

I've been watching videos from JMac since 2021. It got to a point his views really started festering really heavy doubt in me💔 and then I stopped and decided I'll study the bible on my own and realized a lot of the positions JMac holds are his preconceived mindset of what the bible should be saying and not what the bible is actually saying!
I'm sometimes dumbfounded by some of the things he can say 😵‍💫

That night I was in a church and people touched me when praying for me. I woke up completely healed and left the house where I had been confined for months.It was a miracle and I was in a church of believers . 
Show me one scripture where the gifts have been stopped by God ?

I have prayed for people who have received physical, emotional and mental healing. in my private psychotherapy practice and private life. I pray for people everywhere I go and God gives me words to speak. In going to a fine restaurant recently we were greeted by a beautiful Jewish young lady and the Holy Spirit gave me this to say, "you are a jew and you are running with the wrong crowd and you know it and God is telling you to stop now and get back to your God give values and come to Jesus. She froze and wept in front of everybody as she embrace the word of truth.We were then lead then to our table so pleased that God shared his love for her. However you may want to characterize this enteraction does not matter to me, I just know experientially this was the Holy Spirit reaching out to her via me, no ego involvement. I may have recognized somethings about this individual as a psychotherapist, but I would never have known that without the Holy Spirit leading me. Furthermore, I never asked for something for her other than praying "Lord use me today as you wish". My 2 cents--Jesus said "I will be in you and you will be in me". Remember, Jesus was baptized and one with the Holy Spirit and he directed the apostle and deciples to wait for the Holy Spirit. This is critical as children of God. Shalom

Nowhere, absolutely nowhere in the New Testament does it teach, preach, suggest or imply that the “GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT, ” have “CEASED!” In his instruction to the CORINTHIANS, the Apostle Paul wrote that,
“Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
~1 Corinthians 13:8-10~
The, “THAT WHICH IS PERFECT” is Jesus Christ at the end of the Church age, when the Church has been presented to Christ. Even, the ministry of preaching, is fox “THE PERFECTING OF THE SAINTS, ” and that perfecting will NOT BE FINISHED, until Christ comes. Therefore, as the Apostle Paul said, these gifts of the Spirit are “PARTS, ” that will “NOT CEASE” until “THAT” which is “PERFECT” comes! To say otherwise is false doctrine. These “GIFTS” are from “GOD’s SPIRIT, ” not man. These GIFTS ARE SUPERNATURAL AND CAN ONLY BE GIVEN TO WHOM GOD’s SPIRIT HAS CHOSEN. No one, not any, can lay claim to any gift, the SPIRIT chooses! These GIFTS DID NOT COME FROM BENNY HINN, ORAL ROBERTS, HILLSONG, GREG LAURIE OR SOME OTHER MAN. And NO MAN CAN CAUSE THEM TO CEASE, NOT JOHN McAUTHUR, VODDIE BACHUM, DAVID JEREMIAH, or any other cessation preacher. This was ACTUALLY, “A COMMANDMENT OF THE LORD, ” which Apostle Paul wrote in ~1 Corinthians 14:37~, so since the COMMANDMENT OF THE LORD SAYS, DO NOT FORBID, STOP, HINDER, “CEASE” ANYONE FROM PROPHESYING OR SPEAKING TONGUES! Then WHY are you LISTENING TO ANY MAN OR WOMAN PREACHER WHO IS “STOPPING” HINDERING EVEN CEASING YOU FROM YOUR MIRACLE, OR KNOWLEDGE OR DISCERNMENT OR FATH OR WISDOM OR HEALING OR TONGUES OR PROPHECY?? Yes, there is FEAR OF NOT KNOWING HOW, or the FEAR OF ABUSE, which the CORINTHIANS WERE GUILTY OF JUST AS MUCH AS THE FALSE TEACHERS OF TODAY ARE. THESE GIFTS EDIFY US AS PAUL SAID, AND MUST BE OPERATING IN THE LOVE OF JESUS AND AS LONG AS THERE IS STILL PREACHING GOING ON, THEN THAT “WHICH IS PERFECT” HAS NOT COME YET.

My goodness...it couldn't be anymore CLEARER than it is in the second chapter in the book of Acts of the apostles that all the spiritual gifts are still given to believers! Starting with the baptism of the Holy Spirit!!!

Spiritual Gifts are definitely preset!! I’ve seen the miracles, healing, tongues, prophecy.. it’s all there to edify the church!

It’s a poor day when we are preaching that we Jesus didn’t share his authority with us. He clearly stated we would lay hands on the sick and cast out devils in Mark 16:17-18. These are only a few acts we are empowered to do as the Holy Spirit now lives within us. Only one who has not experienced the giftings and miracles of the Holy Spirit would speak against them in modern culture.

John 14:12
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

He's not talking to his disciples since they were already doing these wonderful works in His name.

It never cease to amaze me how that someone can say they believe in Christ, and will not follow his instructions.
Before the verse you mentioned from Paul, Christ prayed that's they be one as he was one with the Father.
Christian that follow other men
Never understood many teachings
that Christ said because they will not read with understanding.
Have we not even forgot the words and the meaning of as many as the Lord shall call.
He is still calling or their faith is in vain and would we be man most missrable ??
Why would the 9 gifts be mentioned and one teach that they are done away with ??
To that I say... If they don't have discernment of word then that gift that they deny in itself no one should follow that man

This is an issue I struggle with. I find the cessationist view falls well short of what scripture states yet I also see a level of performative behaviour in the Pentacostal church which also does not align with what scripture says about issues such as talking in tongues.
I see nowhere in the bible that says that the gifts ended with the apostles yet we do see scripture that indicates that the gift of healing was not used on, say Timothy & Trophimus, why not?
Acts 2:18 states "Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy".
I find it difficult to believe that the Lord could be constrained in anything He wishes to do.
I will have a look at your links as I continue to understand this difficult subject.
