I am also a doctor (PhD in astrophysics), trust me creatine can increase your height. I recently started taking it and now I am over 4 meters in height

I fucking hate that so much. He’s a doctor, makes sure to clarify that he is telling you a secret truth, and then lies to you. How is the average person supposed to find solid, truthful health, diet, and lifting information in the world of the internet? It genuinely blows my mind. You legit have to be lucky enough to follow someone like Sean, Layne Norton, Mike Israetel, etc. Someone who will show you the research papers. Otherwise you will likely just be unlucky and find a “doctor” who somehow disagrees with science. Blows my mind…

First: nb mentioned height, GH works on most of human tissues either directly or indirectly
Second, the first study does show a significant effect on GH
third, both studies were done on 6-11 people which is a very small number, with no control groups
fourth Creatine does indeed increase GH and IGF-1 but you wouldn't know that because you haven't studied human biology to even know what igf-1 is

This is a big fitness social media pet peeve of mine. People who use their "doctor" title in order to appear as an authority in areas that don't even relate to their field and that they actually know very little about.⁣ Unfortunately all it takes is showing up on camera with a stethoscope draped around their neck and the average person will eat up anything and everything they say without questioning it.⁣

This dude has 3 million followers and regularly posts "how to grow taller" videos, so I'm assuming the whole creatine/growth hormone thing is meant to play into that.⁣ No one is going to be supplementing with 20 grams of creatine daily, and even at that very high dose, the main study on this only showed a modest and temporary increase on average.⁣

Maybe Dr. Brian is the nicest guy in the world, but misinformation is still misinformation and people shouldn't just be mindlessly pumping out videos like this especially when they know it's to a younger audience who are going to trust their every word.⁣ His comment section is now flooded with guys raving about how they're excited to start using creatine in the hopes that it's going to increase their height.⁣

When it comes to growth hormone or testosterone, transient up and down spikes in the short term are not going to be enough to have any meaningful impact on body composition.⁣ You need significant increases that are sustained over a consistent prolonged period for anything noticeable to happen, and natural over the counter supplements are not accomplish that.⁣

Creatine is a solid research backed supplement with a variety of fitness related benefits, but it's not a "growth hormone booster" and there's no good reason to use it for that specific purpose.⁣

Back when i was like 11 we had these physical check ups and they could predict your height by just looking at averages and all that shit and they told me i'd be 5ft11, i'm now 22 and am a little over 5ft9. I'd like to have been at least 180cm(around 5ft11) but i learned to not let things you can't change get to me. So for anyone beating themselves up about your height, there is nothing that can change it so just accept it. Worrying about things that can't be changed only brings negativity.

i come from a family full of medics and I want to emphasize the importance that everybody must be subject of correction when talking about scientific evidence. science is not reserved for a select few, everybody can pitch in if they know how to read and interpret scientific papers

They’ve done studies with gh levels and gaba increases it, they also did a study with intermittent fasting which has you consuming less calories then what would be presumed as adequate for growth and it increases gh levels exponentially

Hey Sean there is a lot of stuff going around in India about the use of protein supplements, recently a celebrity died and just cause he had a fit physique the media instantly starting spreading rumors that he died because of the daily intake of protein supplements and majority of the population took it as a legit fact. could you make a short or atleast a comment about this topic It would help a lot
