I like how Paul has a teflon pan so he can just say not to use it in his videos

For anyone concerned about burning the piss out of eggs like he does in this video, once the pan is heated adequately so that water dances, you can let it cool back down to a lower heat and it still remains non-stick as long as it doesn't completely cool. Toss in a small amount of butter, and you can cook on medium heat as not to burn the eggs. Took me some trial and error but now I do it without even thinking about it.

Hey bro I'm a chef and I use professional grade stainless steel pans every day. You do not have to get the pan that hot simply season it like a cast iron and use plenty of grease and you can cook it on a much lower temperature and have the eggs slide out perfectly 😊

I'll be honest Paul you are a great information source for healthy food but that was not the best cooking of a fried egg it looks sad

I was desperate. I didn’t know what to do. Then I found this video and figured at least I’m not fucking up fried eggs like this man is. I feel much better now.

These eggs aren't burnt they're crispy.
Judging by the comments it's an unpopular opinion. Seriously. It's not for everyone
but I love eggs like this.

For anyone wondering you don’t actually have to turn the heat up that high. Just put the flame on low-medium and let it heat up the pan for 2-3 minutes. The water will still ball up. Then add your oil or whatever and let it coat the pan. Then add your eggs. Same benefit but you don’t immediately burn whatever you’re cooking and you can cook low and slow!

EDIT: omg you guys are cracking me up you missed the point 😂 I don’t care what you use whether it’s oil/ghee/dragon ball sweat/butter whatever I don’t care I was just saying his method still works on low heat 😂

Cast iron, melt butter, put eggs on, add a small amount of water….no burnt eggs! I’ve given up stainless steel after all my eggs come out like that! Still love you Doc!

Okay, that is indeed one way to cook eggs. Since I am of French descent...this is what I do every morning:
Use my stainless steel pan.
Put about 1 & a half tablespoons of butter in the pan.
Crack two eggs into a bowl and beat them briskly with a fork until pale yellow.
Let the butter melt in the pan on low heat.
Put the beaten egg into the pan and put a lid on it.
Let the egg set, and then turn it into a rolled omelette. Or just fold it into a triangle shape.
If you like cheese, please, then add that right before doing the roll of the omelette....
This is a very delicate way to make and eat your eggs.
Two ingredients (or three..if using cheese).
As the Great Julia Child would say:
Bon Appetit!!!🎉😊

Personally, I prefer a lower heat for a bit longer when frying eggs to avoid the crusty, burnt egg underneath them. If you have a lid, you can use that briefly to help heat the top of the egg and cook the white, but this may also harden the yolk if left on for too long.

Hell no. Overdone brown crap on the white of the egg. You’ve ruined them.

With this amount of fat I can cook an egg even in the asphalt during Brazilian summer.
