I’m fairly new to squatting but I find squatting with my shoes off and making sure I engage all of my toes helps my squat a lot. I noticed that I was only doing it with my right foot and always got an uneven work out but noticed a huge change when I went shoes off

Yes I have this problem bc of fitness instructor saying you should be able to lift toes in a squat… now I over compensate.
