The 7 day week comes as a natural result of observing the Lunar cycle. There are 7 days between new moon and 1st quarter, 1st quarter and full moon, full moon and last quarter and last. Civilisations all across the world had calendars which were based on the lunar cycle.

There is a natural 30(ish) day cycle. How do you divide that up? 15, 2 day weeks? 2 weeks of 15 days each? Going with a 7 day week simply divides up the natural moon cycle in a workable manner. I never have understood the need to make it magical.

I have always thought it logical because of the number of full moons in a year divided into quarterlies equals a 7 day week. Your calendar is then month to month full or new moons each week determined by the phases. The more complicated things like 12 months instead of 13 would be later additions to practicality imo.😁

Yes. The Hebrew Calendar 📆 was actually 12 months and 30 even days. 360 days per year.

Technically there a at least 5 uncontacted peoples on earth that may use a different or no calendar at all . So until we are all on the same page, we are not all using it

1. This was a Jewish innovation, not a Christian invention.
2. There have been other calendars in history. Prior to the christian nations colonizing most of the rest of the world China had their own calendar.. More recently, when the soviet union started they had a 10-day week.However, this didn't work for them.

we are following the gregorisn calendar,
sabbath on Sunday vs Saturday originally but those all had Roman names of gods for the 7 days so where is the Hebrew culture in Christianity

You cannot see seven planets in the night sky, with a naked eye. Neptune and Pluto are only visible with some kind of optical enhancement (and Earth isn't "in the sky").

I really say this with compassion, but just use a spell checker. And get somebody else to proof read the words before sticking them up online, it's every video now.

The clips continue to be excellent, but the sub/titles are letting you down.
