Judas betrayed Jesus
Peter denied Jesus
The difference is that peter repent and judas end his own life.

Wow 2 years later, I'm surprised with how many responded and how many can't really comprehend my simple statement. Please read the bible carefully and get some Kierkegaard.

It's truly one of the great mysteries of God. There will some things we will not grasp until we meet our Creator. We can no more understand this than a dog understands a can opener.

HIS grace is made sufficient for us. Many unfortunately don’t realize that due to HIS finished work on the cross, we can do NOTHING to earn or make things better no matter how hard we try. While i also struggled with the question that it ain’t fair that we are born of original sin that we have no control of but HIS grace took care of all that and now all we need to do is be thankful and live in that belief till the end.

We always try to figure out God's ways with logic and reasoning, forgetting that God exists in a dimensional plane that is far more complex than ours. There is no way we can ever understand how God works. We only have to trust and obey.

I usually answer this with an analogy using parenthood. Your parents KNEW for sure, that if they brought you into this world that you would experience pain, hardship, loss, and eventually death. Every parent knows this, and yet they still choose to bring you into this world. Does anybody question the goodness of their parents for choosing to bring you into this world knowing full well the pain and suffering we all face? Nope.

I'm telling you, Ravi Zacharias was right when he said people ask the same handful of questions

His statement "God can get done what he wants even through evil or through an atheist" is 100% right!
I became more inclined towards God (and reduced my love for worldly pleasures) because I saw how empty rich and powerful atheists were. They have everything but they still seek joy and happiness. It was through them that I realized that I may not be rich as them, but my faith in God and Christ gives me joy and that I was chosen by Jesus to be saved. If I hadn't seen those atheists I wouldn't have understood that part. So God, through those atheists showed me how joyful I am because of God.

It’s because God saw you from eternity and fell in love with you even before you were created but as our speaker mentioned that true love requires free will and its price was His sacrifice.
God created People He knew would sin to show His infinite Love.

When a question starts "Why would God ...." The proper answer is "I don't know." There is nothing wrong with that.

He changed her actual question to a different question. The real question is if god knows all, why not make a world filled with people he knows will choose him, and leave the other people unmade.

Been looking for a good reason for why God created a world that would sin. Perfect answer! Continue your work for the Lord!

The problem with our mindset when we ask some of these questions is that too often we assume that we are the most important beings in the universe, that everything is just God trying to do whatever we want Him to for our own purposes “trying His best” to give us an easy life, not God working to bring glory to Himself. This is not to deny God’s love and mercy towards us. Rather, when we realize the holiness of God, His love and mercy amaze us even more. (See Romans 8 and 9)

True, God knew everythin. The question is was God responsible for Judas's betrayal? God knew but that does not mean God is responsible for our actions.

God didn't just know that the people he created would sin ..he made sure they sinned..it was his plan ..

I've always felt like this question was never meant for us as creation to understand. Sometimes we become so loving of logic we forget that God is also full of mystery - full of reaching into the world and changing something that defies logic because He's just God. He's allowed lol
