A Universe From Nothing, Therefore God Exists!

Have you ever heard the claim Quantum Mechanics demonstrates the universe can come into existence from absolutely nothing? Well this is not entirely true and it in no way replaces the need for a designer.

Thank you. My roommate was a PHD in physics at UCLA. We had this argument when I was in law school. I told him nothing literally means nothing. In fact, we can't really contemplate nothing.

I ran into you for a reason from God. I was having the worst of times dealing with doubt and my faith in Jesus Christ. You have saved me, understanding that God is here with us all, may God continue to bless you with more wisdom❤️

Nothing is Nothing. It's not Something. If there is anything in the vacuum, then that is NOT NOTHING!

As an atheist/skeptic, this has been the best argument for the existence of a divine creator I have ever considered. However, there is a large distance from accepting the possibility of a creator-mind to accepting all dogmas of christianity.

After my girlfriend and father passed away while studying in Uni, I spent a lot of time thinking about life and the nature of reality - how can something come from nothing, is it really nothing, what is nothing? From whatever we have popped into our thought existence from, thank you. Hot wings and a garlic/blue cheese dipping sauce still taste pretty awesome!

I’ve said this many times before but it’s always worth repeating.I know it’s not intentional but GOD is driving atheists nuts! With much love and peace, John.

Deep time is a construct of secularism in order to come up with an incomprehensible time so that authority could be taken from God.
Deep time has become an idol. 'Given enough time, we can produce anything.'

Scientists: "The physical universe is just a hologram or projection of a larger reality."

Yes, the bible actually says that is the case. The larger reality is God.

Also scientists: "Nothing created everything, but these were the things that created it."

THANK YOU! This is one of my biggest pet peeves about the "nothingness is unstable" theory, and nobody seems to challenge it. I think it's a conceptual problem that prevents most people (physicists and cosmologists included) from understanding what "nothingness" is. It's actually impossible to truly conceptualize nothing without turning it into a "something" in your mind. If you ask most people (and I've asked a few) to imagine nothingness, they'll usually conjure up a vast, empty space. But that's not nothing. There's space and dimension there.... That's two things already. And where there's space, there has to be time as well... So now there's THREE "somethings" there. NOT nothing. It's impossible to visualize nothingness. There's nothing to see, and no vantage point from which to see it. And nothing can happen, because there's nothing there to get perturbed, or in an excited state, nor is there the requisite space and time for any action to take place. I sometimes find myself wishing to run into Lawrence Krause some day, so I can have a word with him about this.... and a couple of other things.

SO... These girls are accusing Krauss of harassment, but he says he did "Nothing"

28 years ago I was reading a book by Stephen Hawkin. I was halfway the book where I read about how all that is in the universe is constructed from something science calls quarks which essence can best be described as "vibration". And then I came to Christ, and started to read the gospel of John "In the beginning was the WORD", can you imagine this really got my attention?

IP as a man of science and religion you have helped me so much because I have always been on the edge of my seat in life.

I have always wanted proof for the soul and god, you have also have shown light upon evolution and its grand purpose in the universe

not to mention you have taught me so much about quantum mechanics and the need for consciousness in the universe.

I now see the purpose of the universe and how we fit in

its not that were just a bunch of mindless atoms that think there real

the real truth is that we are highly complex quantum computers with free will and a soul

as a person who struggles with faith at times, I've finally been able to put it to rest

I cannot thank you enough

KJV Psalms 33
8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
9 For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

One of the first things that led me back into Christianity was seeing other fellow atheists discussing the simulation theory as a possibility while dismissing the idea of God with utmost ferocity. This struck me as odd and hypocritical, so I went back into reading all the arguments for theism I avoided back when I became an Atheist, like reading "There Is a God" from Antony Flew, then C. S. Lewis and Chesterton books.

Praised be Our Lord Jesus Christ, for being so patient with people like me and taking me back.

Thank you for this, it was great. Philosophy is actually something I have only just begun reading and it's completely solidified my belief of a Creator. It's not that I didn't accept the existence of a Creator previously I'd say my belief in G-d wasn't as strong as it is now 😊
