According to Of operation 2(3) or 2.3 means (2×3) not just 2×3

PEMDAS and left to right. If you don't understand what I am saying, then you don't need to know.

Why do you sometimes add ' ' and sometimes not

In the title, you say you want to calculate '6 ÷ 2(1+2)', with a space separatorbetween '÷' and '2(1+2)', but not separator between '2' and '(1+2)'...

Writen like that, it show that you want to group '2(1+2)', so it may be rewriten (2(1+2))

then we have 6/(2(1+2)) = 1, no problem here...

But in your first calcul, you rewrite it '6÷2(1+2)' so you removed the space separators !!!
And it is like removing the coma it a sentence:
6 divided by, 2 parenthesis 1 plus 2
is not the same as
6 divided by 2 parenthesis 1 plus 2
or
6 divided by 2, parenthesis 1 plus 2

that is '6÷2 (1+2)', and that may event be rewriten as (6÷2)(1+2)

But what you calculate is '6÷2(1+2)'

Here I see 2 problems :
- after primary school ÷ should not be used anymore (as soon as somebody use the fraction symbol)
- in primary school, implicit multiplication are not used
So here we have a formula that is partially for primary school, and partially not for primary school !!!

If you want it to be solved by any primary school kid, remove the implicit multiplication by adding the explicit multiplication symbol and parenthesis if necessary.

So it should be rewritten as (6÷2)*(1+2) = 9 or 6÷(2*(1+2)) = 1

And if it is not for primary school, rewrite it as
6
= 1
2 (1+2)
or
6
___(1+2) = 9
2

Here I don't want to say if the 'good' answer is 1 or 9, but as it may be confusing, it should be rewriten.

Answer is 1, Proof in three lines:
2(1+2) = 6
Divide both sides by 2(1+2)
1= 6 ÷ 2(1+2) Done!

Use an algebraic expression replace any of the number with X
Let’s say replace X with 6
X/2(1+2)=9
X =54

Now X/2(1+2)=1
X=6

There you can you can exchange any of the numbers, 9 is wrong .

Put quite simply, 6 ÷ 2(1+2) is not the same as 6(1+2) ÷ 2 The latter is 9, so the former must be something else. Rules of algebra apply, not some virtually worthless, grade school mnemonic.

Your mistake comes at line 2. The rules you employed tell you to do parenthesis before division, not to replace them with a multiplication sign and then move on to do some other operation instead. It is fortunate that only a few people have seen this video and to be misled by it.

the CORRECT answer is ONE!!!! .... any other answer is wrong
the old way is the BEST way.... think of "u" substation
