For sure! This equation contains multiple calculations. I will explain it to you:

Start: We have the equation 3 + 6 ÷ 2.

We begin with the division process: we divide 6 ÷ 2 and this is equal to 3.

Then we come to the addition operation: we add 3 to 3 and this is equal to 6.

So, the end result is 6

Order of operations is the key to this. You prioritize division over addition, meaning that the equation turns into 3+3

It's abiding by the order.

Put the 6+3 in parenthesis ... Then it's first.
Otherwise division is first so its 6÷2 = 3...+3 = 6

I was taught that if there’s more than one multiplication and or division sign in the equation, that you work left to right; same principle applies for addition and subtraction, but after the former two operations of course.

bruh because its like this:
3 + 6 / 2 = 6
in mathematical order dividing and multiplying goes first, and then subtract and add.
so you do 6 / 2 = 3 + 3 = 6
if you want it to subtract first you must do like this:
(3 + 6) / 2 = 4, 5
thats why "()" are important in mathematics

That is that's how phone calculators work, it won't divide all stuffs like that but if you bracketed (3 + 6), it would give a different answer. What phone calculators do, it will divide only the number that it's closest to and the other digit is not being bothered. So it resulted 6 because of this:

3 + (6 ÷ 2)

It is an simplification
l will explain you -
3+ 6 ➗ 2
it's mean we wil apply this formula -
DMAS stand for D stand for Division,
M stand for Multiplication, A stand for Addition, S stand for Subtraction

firstly we can divide and then Plus like this
6 ➗ 2
3+3
6

Using BIDMAS, it is 6 becuase the "D" for "dividing" comes first, then you do the subtraction.

*4.5 has left the chat*

Wait it is actually 6 i double-checked today and its correct bc 3 + ( 6 : 2 ) = 3 + 3 = 6.
Im so stupid lol

Obviously, it is in bodmas rule,
3+6÷2
(First we will do division as [d stands before a])
3+3=6
Simple, there is nothing to hesitate like that....
