I had a mother like you do and shes been gone for 10 years. I like to give people a shortcut to this bs because its just so useless to deal with. My mother is a narcissist with BPD n if u really know what these two r then u know what I'm dealing with. I'm 51 she's 71 I'm a daughter her only child so that just adds on to what's already been a life I don't wish on anyone I'm struggling I can't do the no contact but I also can't be around her more then 20 mins tops because it always always ends bad n my shame was n is I became a heroin addict I'm clean now 5 yrs but she uses that for the guilt she puts on me first using n now taking care of myself either way the damage is beyond repair her narcissistic selfish self destroyed everything that meant something to me I don't even know why I'm writing this it's all over the page making no sense I'm so desperate for any type of help dealing with her but she won she got her way n when I die because i will before her they live forever but she will tben use that my death for her gain n like i said she wins
