You are a very inspirational man.
I have learned so much from you on YouTube over the years.
I now design and get my own PCB's manufactured from all
the stuff i have learned from you.
Keep up the good work and what a fantastic job on your new Lab.

Damn... wish I had that kind of space for my multimedia and music production studio. Keep up the great videos!

That is his inexpensive method for locating lost bits of hardware that may have gone astray during tear-downs. It also encourages him to keep careful track of said hardware.

+1 for the IKEA Broder shelving. Bought some the day after Dave posted his original lab setup video. So much better than piling everything on the desk :)

Glue together two 3/4" thick piece's to get a 1 1/2" thick work surface. If needed, screw from the bottom to the top - not all the way through of course. I once did this with 3/4" MDF - I thought it was real nice looking!

Wat material are your blue bench mats made of?
BTW, great video. Barefoot, of course. I hope you spend as much time on the beach as at the bench.

Dave just an advice, next time put the camera on manual mode, white balance shatter speed etc so the colors of each picture will be the same :)

Hello Dave. What shelf system you using? Is it totally stand alone? It doesn't screw onto the wall, does it? Foot racks on the floor and mounting between racks regular elements or custom?
How are wooden shelves fastened? Which shelves are more convenient, wood or metal?
Your workshop shelf system is the best I've seen. Please review it.

This is common practice? Even for hardwood plywood? If my bracing is good, will 3/4" be okay? Thanks!

One sheet of oak plywood is around $45. It'll be $90 for two.. ouch, my broke college student ass!
