My rowing machine arrives Monday and I can’t wait BUT I am disabled and my left leg only has about 10% flexibility which will force me to “row” almost entirely core arms. Hopefully this will be sufficient to enable a good workout.

There is no reason to tap down with the handle when you’re not on the water. your handle should follow a straight line on the erg and stay just below the pecs.

I love this tip! Feels more natural for me. I enjoy with John. I'm at the end of his 2k plan, but the more I row and learn my body, the more his advice seems futile for me. Cheers and keep pushing!
