I have been doing your program for bone and bone knee arthritis and it is working awesome. I try to do the three glute exercises twice a day

Since I've started focusing on only my glutes starting 3 month's ago, I can now feel my weaker glute wake up during all of the exercises you recommended. It comes shortly alive, just after my stronger side!

I’m entering the knee problem stage. But with your helpful advice, I’m confident that I can strengthen and redistribute muscle strength to reverse the range of motion, strength and stamina lost. Thank you Dr. D. M., El Paso

Dr. David, I have come to realize that the Orthopedic Surgeons in the South push for a patient who they classify as "bone on bone" with one's knees is money. The hospitals out here seem to be in competition to pull in as much money each and every day with patients, especially with insurance coverage and secondary insurances and NOT to solve their pain of bone one bone with the proper exercises to strengthen glutes and not cortisone shots, jelly shots which cost $3, 000 or the ultimate knee replacement which brings in the most money. I had a right knee replacement 2-1/2 years ago which is causing me problems now the PA-C wants me to go for physical therapy at THEIR hospital (not an outside private practice where the patient's health insurance money will go in their pockets and NOT the hospital. The PA-C after x-rays which he did not look at, tested both knees and bent them gently twisting in different directions and felt I needed to strengthen my quads! ! ! ! I have pain in my right knee replacement when I get up after sitting for 10 minutes or longer I also had a femur break also in the right leg and two right hip (another story for another after seeing your Pod Cast I will be sure that this physical therapist does NOT look to strengthen my quads instead of strengthening my which I hope works because I am also looking at a left knee replacement of "bone on bone". Thank you Dr. David for enlightening me on the bone-on-bone situation.

Does activating/strengthening glutes help medial plica syndrome? After a year of favoring one knee, my other one has symptoms of this. Waiting on orthopedic appointment, but when I messaged him, he said it was a diagnosis of exclusion.

I can't seem to not activate my thigh muscles - perhaps my glutes are so atrophied that I can only just do a little when sitting. when standing, I can activate them without feeling like I am using my thighs. Is that a thing?

No no no no completely incorrect on how to build and activate glutes. It’s a hip hinge movement, not a sitting and squeezing movement
