How I Feel About The NRA

I feel this way about it. I’ve been an NRA trained shooter from childhood. I love their instruction programs and gun safety courses. I do not agree with all conservative politicians on every issue and almost nothing for liberal politicians. With that said it’s a big tent guys we don’t all have to see things exactly the same way. While I myself am ticked off about some of the silly and stupid mistakes the NRA had made recently I still support the fact that that they do support gun rights. Maybe not how I would like them or to the extent I want but they do fight for our rights. If it wasn’t for the NRA I would not even be able to have a gun in the state that I live in and that’s a fact. I’m a life member and have been for years clearly I want some change to happen at the NRA management team. We need some new blood. I’m also a GOA member and I like many of the things they do but not all. If your a member of either make sure they do the things you want and hold them to it by voting. Do not let those that would take all our gun rights away have a win by dividing ourself and infighting. I don’t care who you are if you support gun rights I’m with you. If you don’t then I’m not. I’m not going to say you don’t support everything therefore I hate you. No one has my exact brand of politics but that does not mean I can’t find common ground. When we conservatives divide ourself then the gun grabbers win. We can’t let the gun grabbers win, this is their plan to divide us and once they do all is lost. Don’t believe it see how many republicans get elected without NRA funding. I’m not trying to change anyone’s mind I’m letting you how I feel. I love my God, I love my country, my family, my friends and my fellow patriots. WWG1WGA

Please also consider the 2nd Amendment Foundation. They are the ones that fight a lot of the court battles for us.

Hell yeah brother! Me, my uncles and my close friends all pulled our memberships. Combined years being over 110 years between all of us that donated. They have sent letters also with zero replies. The Not Real Americans have gone past my limit this time
My donations now doubled to the GOA, something I should have done years ago

Negotiating Rights Away, also look at their financial records you see floating around and how little they spend on fighting for rights, but goes to massive salaries

Im already a paid life member so they don't ask me for money anymore lol. I will be attending the convention because my boy and I always look forward to going. But I totally understand the frustration. I've been emailing them and they're not responding like they used to. They definitely need to be held accountable for their lack of action on 2A matters.

The way they have been acting it seems like they have been getting backdoor money from the anti gunners. Which wouldn't suprise me if they did.

I agree with you 100% about the NRA and I don't think they will ever change. Let this be a lesson to the younger crowd about becoming a "life time" member of any political organization. Read the comments on here from life members and ask yourself how interested the NRA is in hearing from someone who no longer has to pay to stay? My friends thought I was stupid for not paying the life membership 15 years ago, now they wish they hadn't done it.

I’m a lifer at NRA from early 2000, used to send money for ILA, but I had told them before this last debacle they weren’t getting any more from me and to quit asking for it. I joined GOA last year. No way I can get to Indy so you can use my membership card to go 🤣
