Abba this is what current generation needs. I almost quit medicine trying to explain a 18 yr old why he should not use the protein powder. Will be forwarding this to my friends son who is junior saravana kumar.

Another great video Pal! Looking back at my visits to my great grandma's village I remember she use to have a jug of buttermilk by her bedside to consume throughout the day. She was slim and healthy till the day she passed away at the age of 106. Technically, buttermilk is an excellent source of protein and good bacteria. Although we cannot source real buttermilk (even in India, I think) nowadays, Lassi (made from fat-free yogurt, or Fage 0% greek yogurt in my case) is excellent in three main ways - provides 10g protein per 100g/4 tbsp (mixed in a cup of water for lassi), full of good bacteria and quenches thirst/hunger ( to avoid snacking between meals).

I like these videos: they are funny, informative and contain important advice for those who are on the weight loss journey or thinking about losing some weight. However, I'd say, based on my experience as well as others, that keeping your weight in a healthy range is more challenging than losing weight. People who lost weight often got there by forcing some habits like going to the gym, watching what they eat, etc. When they do this over a period of 6 months, 1 year, 2 year, they lose weight and even reach a healthy range....but once they get off the habits that they forced themselves into for weight loss, their weight starts creeping back up and within a couple of years further down the road, they find themselves back to square one ! So make sure whatever habits you inculcate, including carrying weight scale to the restaurant to weigh your biriyani or eating high-protein diet and lifting weights in gym, you are in a position to maintain those habits lifelong ! Honestly the diet part is the most important and is the hardest to maintain !! Otherwise your weight loss journey is going to be a short-lived one.

Dr Paul, i have been following your YouTube for quite some time. I really appreciate the way you're explaining about health. Since this video is about protein, i would like ask you to give recommend some plant based which has probiotic and can be digested easily. Since I have gastric issues I don't like to prefer either milk based or meat based protein. Could you please suggest some?
