Do you want to know some “heathly” foods that are actually remarkably unhealthy?
grains - They lead to blood glucose dysregulation and are insulinogenic. They’re heavily sprayed with herbicides and pesticides which are known endocrine disruptors, and since fat accumulation is largely endocrine related, this can make you fat. They have tons of plant defense chemicals, they’re often fortified with iron, which can lead to oxidative stress, inflammation, and weight gain and they can also inflame your gut.

These have poor protein bioavailability and contain numerous plant defense chemicals, which can prevent the absorption of really important micronutrients. Also, don’t eat food that makes you fart.
Nuts and nut butters
These also have inferior protein amino acid profiles and they’re also high in polyunsaturated fatty acids which are preferentially stored in fat.
Anything that’s ultra-processed that says organic, gluten-free, keto, or vegan. You’re fooling yourself if you think any of that stuff is good for you. Good marketing totally tricked us all.
