The most shocking thing from this video is Briggs saying he’s 50 I always thought he was in his 30’s

As a native we just moved out of Denver and Colorado because as a native saying goes, "it's hard for a native to be native." All the influx of people has killed the small mountain vibe it use to be. Seriously, if you can't remember not buying alcohol on Sundays, then you know nothing about Denver or where to find the original Chubby's.

If it wasn't scary enough, the artist who made Blucifer was killed by the statue after the head fell on him!

Spent 30 years (out of 36) living in the Denver Metro area and finally moved because A. Couldn’t afford a place to live even though I was making $20+/hr and B. I always hated Traffic. Denver will always be my home but I’ll never move back there.

Now I live in Wyoming with rush hour being 12 cars and rent is manageable

Also Denver has recently had lots of theft and homeless people breaking into people’s homes, homeless situation is a big deal in Denver, especially near the Civic Center

There is no “wandering around the streets near the airport” in Denver. Those familiar with Denver, or from there, know what I mean.

Born and bred native, and you NAILED IT! There is no more of the pioneer, meets cowboy, meets diversified culture, meets hippie vibe- I miss the Cowtown!

Kind of misleading posting a pic of Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods, both are Colorado Springs assets and not even visible from Denver.

I love Denver more than any city I ever lived in!

I've lived in and around Denver most of my life and I have a few additions to make:
1. The fishing here sucks until you get deep enough into the mountains.
2. I like the horse. It makes me feel safe.
3. Go easy on alcohol. The combination of elevation and strong craft beer will leave you keeling if you're not careful.
4. Expect to drive at least an hour, probably more like two, if you want wild camping where you can get away from people. Said camping is mostly at around 10, 000 feet and the roads to get there are sketchy for much of the year.

Was really considering moving from Southern California to Denver but after visiting recently Hell no extremely
Overrated and getting expensive as Fuck not as appealing as it once was not much of an incentive to move there.

I've lived in Denver over 10 years now and I have to say that stating the horse sculpture at the airport is a reason not to move here, is one of the most
ridiculous things I've ever heard of. Sounds like something a 6 year old would say. Lame!

I'm a native of Colorado, and he pretty much summed it up correctly. It's getting more expensive to live here, more people moving here from other States thus more traffic. The Suburbs of Denver is not much better, so I probably wouldn't rank this at the top of my list. I have lived in other areas, live Washington State, it too has got expensive, but you have the water and the mountains, along with Oregon too, I loved living in Oregon, my favorite. North Idaho is also a beautiful place to live, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is where I am certain my soul is still hanging around there, unbelievable beauty, wonderful people, BUT California moved in, not good for the locals EVERYTHING SKYROCKETED, so sad, it really was once a beautiful, clean, calm, no traffic, and very affordable, not anymore... So I think I'll pitch a tent in Montana and see what that is like ~~ Peace Out

Hate Denver, lived around there in my youth, and it is the only city I have ever been too where people actively pursue hostility towards you no matter how much you try to mind your own business. Go out after 8pm and you will see people fighting all over the city, and creating ruckus and mayhem. When I used to live there was riots constantly, haven't heard much about riots there lately, but I sure saw many of them when I lived there. They call it Menver, and the men there are hyper aggressive towards woman, if you take your lady to a bar for a drink, they will just come up and hit on her with you standing there, and want to fist fight if you express any surprise at their hyper aggressiveness. I just went there few weeks ago, and I am with my mom and wife on mothers day, and I am almost clear of the city with out incident, mind you every time I have been there something crazy happens. It is 3pm in the afternoon and we are walking on the 16th street mall, some angry Millennial gets off a bus, and starts freaking out with a level of anger I have never seen, spazzing out, screaming as loud as possible, throwing stuff all over the place, comes strait to me where we are trying to remain still, and starts to try to get me to fight with him. It blows my mind that people would actually live in this place, and not think it is nuts that people are just all over like rabid dogs fighting day and night, like some never ending bar fight. Honestly I have been there like 7 times in the past 15 years, and I could write a book on how many psychotic things I have witnessed in pretty much maybe 14 days of being there. Drive around the city, and people have the lowest threshold of road rage, you turn in front of someone with 3 car lenghts, and the person will start freaking out, honking horns, drive on the shoulder, cut you off, break check you, like the craziest thing you can imagine. Then we were outside waiting for a uber, and we saw these white guys yelling racist stuff, to a guy that was maybe 1/4 black, trying to get him to fight with their group of 10 guys. In the altitude you get drunk real easily, I personally think that is part of the problem, and cabin fever from being inside all winter. Watch the shinning, look at Jack Nicholson at the end of the movie, then look look into the eyes of someone from Denver, and you will see that same blank stare, lol, ok that might be a little extreme, but you get my point. There is no coincidence Columbine happened there, and this recent attempted one, because the kids there are just plane raised to be downright mean. If you want my advice, stay away, move to Texas instead, people are a lot nicer there, and the weather is better. I would say come to CA, but that is an entire different rant if you want my honest opinion on the state I reside in, lol.
