Finally something which is named for beginners n actually the exercise is for us beginners unlike others who just show how to squat but never teach how to get trained for it♥️

Thank you for this video. I've looked through a bunch of "beginner" videos and yours is the only one that beginner means just that. I'm definitely going use the chair method until I become more comfortable.
geminigrrl
This is tremendously helpful for my chronic knee pain. Thank you so much!!

This is perfect for begginers, i have health issues and over weight, i end up falling off balance lol, but this is perfect to get me started with squats, i can do it with a chair, untill i get to grips with balance, thank you
vipdrumnbass
well done- for those with back/shoulder problems- I would suggest holding on to your legs for xtra support-

What if you don’t want to lose your hips ?
CCrockergirl
"Lean"? "Thin out"? But I heard that doing squats helps giving you a bigger butt. Is that not true?

Instructions like "knees don't go over your toes" and "slight arch in your back" are not correct. If you walk the stairs, your knees go over your toes. In a squat, as long as you do not feel pain and your weight is on your heels, it is okay if your knees go over your toes. Secondly, your back (spine) should be in a neutral position with a braced core. Make sure to educate yourself before you educate others.
Lastly, your communication skills are good and your video looks great, just make sure your content is up to date.

Of all the videos I watched so far on squats, yours actually showed me the ease in using the hips. My back was hurting doing them before, I couldn't seem to get the form right. But this showed me to bend more at the hip instead of placing the emphasis on the front of the thigh. It was much smoother... Thanks 👍

Great video..doc wanted me to start doing squats but I am afraid I will fall with the lymphedema in my foot and arthritis in the feet so this is absolutely easy for me to do with the chair. Thank You

To echo what others have mentioned, preventing knees from moving forward past the toes actually creates significantly more strain on the knees. The poor advice given in this video is an easy way to pick out an inexperienced trainer.
