North Carolina is my home! Born and raised. Been to the New Hanover Library. Had a book get pushed off a shelf in front of me and no one else was around or on other side of shelf. It was one you could see through to other side. Definitely creepy.

Drove past Lydia’s bridge around Greensboro for work plenty of times. I remember at night seeing a gal thumbing several nights a week wearing the same clothes. I asked my old boss and he just casually said “that’s just a damn ghost, it doesn’t know where it wants to go besides heaven.” Wild man.

Born n raised in Wilmington. Another haunted place here is the old Bellamy mansion. It’s definitely one on the creepiest places I’ve ever been.

Born and raised just west of Winston-Salem. Not on this list is the Hunt House in Huntsville, Richmond Hill Law School in Siloam/East Bend, and Gravity Hill near Zephyr. I've been to all of them, but I must say the Hunt House is by far the most active. Local schools used to arrange field trips to the house even though they were warned about the activity. However, after many children complained of being scratched and showing 3 large welts or bleeding scratches on their backs, the school ended the field trips there.

Fort fisher is an amazing place to go to. Great history there. And I personally never seen anything paranormal there.

Great stories again. North Carolina is really nice.
It is still good to know where not to go.

I'm glad you mentioned Lidya's bridge so I was going ghost hunting last year my dad mentioned she was going home from prom then the car dropped. I was looking around I found a broken headlight. I didn't think much of it. I didn't see anything. But it was a good story, btw I love your shows keep up the good work

Ft. Fisher is the MOST BEAUTIFUL place on the NC Coast. We vacationed there my entire childhood.
Here in Asheville, we have Helen's Bridge. Typical "woman spurned, commits suicide" stories. But my son and his GF went with some friends ghost-hunting there about 8 years ago. They were walking across the bridge when his gf got a bleeding scratch just appear on her neck.
My son got pissed - he said, "NO! You are not allowed to touch her. If you think you can, try that with me." Nothing else happened, but he said it was really creepy there, and NOTHING scares him.
Several of the other girls got scratches, but none of the guys.

The devils tramping ground is weird I’ve been there and walked toward the center and it felt like something was pulling me away from it, it made me feel light headed and dizzy while I was close to the center, but no lie it felt like something was pulling me toward the woods

My town of Windsor had a murder in 1993 at a grocery store. One guy robbed them before they closed and killed like three people. Once they shut the building down....some of my friends said they would go knock on the boarded doors and someone would knock back. Infamous Be-Lo murders.

I also live in NC. And during the night when I was taking a shower at my house, I set the shower water from hot water to cold water. But it looks like that I wasn’t alone in the shower because I saw with my own eyes that the handle that turns on and off the shower starting to turn all by itself from the cold water to the hot water. It looks like that a ghost has joined me in the shower with me and has been coming with me to the shower ever since. 😨 Can someone call an expert on ghosts and everything else about the supernatural and paranormal activity please?

I'm from Maryland originally; but some of my maternal ancestors lived in Rockingham County, NC. I've been through the state several times, but mostly going to and from Nags Head on beach vacations...
