Are you using Starlink as your ISP? Do you want to use a router of your choice with the service? Then look no further. TP-Link's Archer Routers can be used with Starlink and can act as a router or an Access Point. This video will show you how to configure your Archer Router to operate as the router for your Starlink Service.

When using an Archer router with your Starlink service, we recommend that the Starlink router be placed in bridge mode.

Is it possible to use this method to boost the signal from starlink? Or is this simply to use a tp-link router as your main router instead of the one provided by starlink?

I have a computer that has ethernet only, I want to move it to a different room and would the Archer A7 connect to a starlink modem wirelessly? Then I will move my computer to a different room with the A7 router and connect my ethernet to the router.

I have seen a YouTube video saying that you can put the starling router into bypass mode. Does this mean that you then don't need to connect the third party extender router to the Starlink Router via Ethernet cable?

This does not work with with a Starlink satellite router. During installation you get a warning "permission denied" when trying to connect. What a waste of time and money.
