I remember when I first got these over 10 years ago and the internet service provider technician from Optimum said they never saw one before. Almost didn't know what it was, but was surprised how well they worked to bring signal up from the modem in the basement to the top floor to my desktop.

You may be getting only 10 up and 10 down because your on two different circuits in your house i.e., the basement is on one circuit breaker on your panel and your router is on another circuit breaker on your panel. These things work best when they're on the same circuit supposedly. For you, the better solution would be to get mesh wifi. Your base station would be full bandwidth (65 mbps) and each mesh node would be about 50% of that, so 3x what you're getting downstairs. The days of a single router providing wifi throughout the house are long over. Just something to think about.

Is the ethernet connection speed capped like some of their other products. Some cheaper versions are capped to 100mbs per ethernet port

Hi, my house have two distribution board, the main one is upstairs and the secondary one is downstairs, though the secondary distribution board is connected from the main distribution board, will the powerline still work?

I am considering getting a powerline adapter. I moved houses, and the plug situation in my house sucks. The length my wifi signal has to travel to my extender is too far, and since it's Xfinity, I just keep getting drops and my devices try connecting to the gateway instead of the extender.

I can't stream at all anymore, so I'm going to look into this.

Great video, I got the same product and lost the directions, you showed me exactly what I needed. I should add, though with any of the brands, I pretty sure the two outlets you use need to be on the same circuit for it tow work probably, I'm hooking mine up in a little bit, I put in a new outlet because my didn't work at all before, I'll pop back in and see if that made a difference.

I have a question… I don’t know much about extenders.. if I connect my router to the extender through Ethernet, can I use the “Ethernet internet” to create a new WiFi through the extender, while my routers wireless WiFi is turned off? I’ll appreciate every answer 🙏🏻
