Very disappointed in setting up the TP-Link. Did as per the pamphlet and Video. However the 5 WiFi Led bars do not light up on the TP-Link. The WPS light on the router also keeps going off. Anybody had the same problems? Any solutions please are very welcome!

I have connected the router and extender as described on the pamphlet as well as the video. However the LED wifi lights do not light up and the routers WPS stops blinking. Could this be a faulty TP-Link? Very disappointing result for now!

How do you reset the extender from a previous network??

I have issues with the WPS. I can use the WiFi from the TP link, but then after a few minutes, the WPS starts blinking red and then I can't use the TP link?

So you need to connect your devices that are away from your router to the wifi extender? A phone for example would not switch between the two as you walk through the house/office?

This does not instruct me on how to eliminate the _EXT name and default the network name to be the SAME as the router, if I have a TP_Link 5400. I need the network name the same for configuring remote devices that need the same type of near router config.
