Flavious Josephus And the Apostle Paul Were the Same Person?


1. Both of them were Pharisees.

2. Both were hellenistic Jews.

3. Both are known for their literary works, and both produced their works with upper-class Koine greek.

4. Josephus tells that he knows many ancient dramas. In acts, there's an episode that narrates Paul's conversion, and the saying "hard to kick against the goad" which has its origin in a drama (written by Jospehus himself?), is used.

5. Paul (paulos) means "small". Josephus mentions Mathhias Curtus as his forefather. Curtus means "small".

6. Paul was in his famous shipwreck when he was on his way to Rome. Josephus also mentions that he was shipwrecked when on his way to Rome.

7. Both were in Rome during the well-known fire in 64CE

8. Paul spent 2 years in inprisonment in Caesarea when waiting for his trip to Rome. Josephus was inprisoned for 2 years during the Jewish war in 67-69CE and he was apparently kept in Caesarea. He too ended up in Rome.

9. Paul disappears into desert for three years after the Damascus incident. Josephus mentions that he had been in the desert with a hermit named Banus for a period of three years when he was young.

10. After the Jewish war, Josephus became a traitor in the eyes of the Jews, and he lived in Rome, apparently for reasons of safety, and wrote his apologies. Paul became a traitor and a 'renegade of the law' in the eyes of the Jews, and there were many attempts to kill him.

The red flag for me is when the book about josephus, his autobiography. Josephus said he went into the desert to mimic or become a studen of a man named banus. He goes to the desert and learns more knowledge from this banus. And then comes back.

Paul too goes to the desert for some reason. And he comes back to jerusalem 3 years later.

They had ridiculously identical biographies anyone can easily conclude that Paul and Josephus were the same person.
-both born in jerusalem
-both were jewish scholar
-both were pharisees
-both died in rome, italy
-both can read and write in greek
-both became roman citizen
-both friends of Titus
The only difference is that Paul whereabouts are within the new testament whereas Josephus is a prominent historical figure served as greek translator to Titus in the 1st century AD.
The new testament were written originally in greek.
Jesus and the 12 disciples speaks aramaic according to the bible so why were the gospels written in greek?
Peter was a fisherman. So how in the world he was able to write 1Peter and 2Peter in greek?
Here is the thing, the new testament was written by only one person, a person that has scholarly stature capable writting in greek and has knowledge of the jewish religion. This person was non other than Flavius Josephus, the same Paul that we read in the new testament.
Conclusion: The new testament is not word of god. It is a novel written by Flavius Josephus in the 1st century AD in the reign of the roman emperor Titus.
Jesus was a jew. He did not write anything in the bible or founded christianity.

Funny you should question Paul, out of all so-called authors of the New Testament canon. He's pretty much the only one that most scholars can agree on having written at least seven of the epistles, that each share the same literary style, and are addressed to his recipients as authored by Paul. The epistles Galatians, First Thessalonians, First Corinthians, Second Corinthians, Romans, Philippians, and Philemon are considered genuine. The other epistles accredited to Paul are questionable. Paul apparently seems to be legitimate. And this is much more than can be said about the writers of the gospels.

Oh there were millions of people that were never portrayed in Josephus' writings. He could be an anonymous guy of no interest to Josephus. If he existed. If he wasn't identical to Simon Magus, that some claim. Or if he wasn't a literary construct of Marcion.

As for The Acts, it is written by "Luke" who is probably Polycarpus of Smyrna. His story doesn't fit with the story of Paul's Epistles. He might have taken the story from Josephus' Saul, but that doesn't mean Saul is Paul.

You are on Point but acturally it appears the Josephus Character gave himself more than one character in the Story or Whoever invent the Character because the Paul Character matches the Saul in Josephus but if you also Read Josephus own Autobiography and Stories in his Writings also Matches that of the Paul Character. The books that really impacted me were; The True Authors of the New Testament, Pisos Further Writings volume 1&2, Caeser's Messiah & Hebrew is Greek.
The ones in control play us at every chance they get so I don't believe anything they push on us anymore thus I noticed that the name "Caeser" is probably another code name for another secret because the spelling doesn't read the way it's pronounced and when we enunciate it the way it's spelled it actually sounds like Kaizer so perhaps code for Kazar??
