Who knew that the guy who said Jesus "committed the sin of racism" would be a bad interpreter of Paul.

Robertson is on pace to have atleast 6 new heresies named after him

I swear 90% of criticisms of Christianity are literally just people nitpicking what the Bible says.

Paul also tells how he spent time with Peter (and James maybe?), and compared what he has been preaching with the Gospel they taught and that it was the same.

We should pray for this guy that he finds The Truth and repents.

I disagree 💯. Pual had a different gospel. He Killed new followers of Christ at the time. Promoted how the "NEW" Followers of Christ should behave. Lied 3 times how he "met" Christ. Not to mention that he was from the Tribe of Benjamin, who was prophesied to be " A Wolf in sheeps clothing".

If Daniel were to say "heed *my* prophecy" to the king of Babylon, does that mean his prophecy is in dialectical tension with the biblical prophecies that come before, or after? Of course not. It's the same with Paul's use of "my gospel." I'm pretty sure a five year old could figure this out.

Brandan Robertson twisting the truth like a false prophet.

Paul explicitly says there is not another Gospel anyway...

"I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— *not that there is another one, * but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ." Galatians 1: 6-7

The sad part is that this Guy is a pastor. He once suggested that Jesus was racist and that Lazarus was gay.

Galatians 1: *exists*
Brandon: "Do y' all hear sumn?"

He's assumed anti-Pauline because Paul refutes his doctrine. It became very clear when he participated in that debate against pastors.

Not to mention that Paul basically says "I'll be damned if I should ever come up with a different Gospel!" (But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!
Galatians 1:8 NIV)

Besides, Paul did say he went to crosscheck his gospel with what the apostles were preaching to ensure he wasn't preaching a different gospel.

There is an excellent chapter in the Historical Reliability of the New Testmament addressing whether Paul is the Founder of Christianity. Definately worth the read. The theology in both Paul's letters and the Gospels complement one another.

Acts 15 - counsel of jerusalem establishes to not practice sexual immorality, strange meat eating and no meats from idol worship!
1 Corinthians 8 - Paul disagrees with meat from idols! It’s okay since an idol is just an idol! But if it offended (weaker) believers, then don’t do it in front of them!
Revelations 2:14 - to the church of Pergamum, Jesus said to repent for they hold the ways of Balaam by eating things sacrificed to idols or Jesus will make war with them by his word!
In conclusion, Paul eventually taught a different gospel to abolish the law which Jesus still honored due to Christ using OT script regarding Balak as an example!

Galatians 1:6-9
If anyone preach to you a gospel besides the one we preach; let him be anathema.

Forget about what your "scholars" say and focus on Paul's gospel

1. The gospel of the grace of God. Acts 20:24.

2. According to the revelation of the Mystery; NOT seen by the OT prophets. Romans 16:25

3. Saved by God’s grace through faith APART from works. Ephesians 2:8+9.

4. Sins forgiven through the redemption IN Christ (Romans 3:24) and His shed blood (Ephesians 1:7).

5. Our ‘one baptism’ (Ephesians 4:5) is done by the ‘one Spirit’ (Ephesians 4:4) into the ‘one body’

 (1Corinthians 12:13), which is into ‘Christ’s body.’ 1Corinthians 12:27.

6. We receive the Spirit when hearing (Romans 10:17*) and believing (Ephesians 1:13+14) Paul’s

Gospel by ‘hearing with faith*.’ Galatians 3:2.

7. We are justified by faith apart from works. Romans 4:4-6.

8. We are under grace and not under law. Romans 6:14.

“But when God, who had set me apart even from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace,

was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not

immediately consult with flesh and blood, nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles

before me; but I went away to Arabia, and returned once more to Damascus.”  Galatians 1:15-17.

The key phrase in the verses above is that God was well pleased to ‘reveal His Son ‘IN’ me, ’ so Paul might preach

Christ Jesus among the Gentiles and gather the ‘sons of God’ to the ‘body of Christ’ (Ephesians 4:12).

God Almighty sent John the Baptist (John 1:6, 33), His Only Begotten Son (after John), the Holy Spirit

(Pentecost) with the ‘gospel of the kingdom’ in order to gather members to the prophetic ‘bride’ (John 3:29).

However, God sends His ‘Three Witnesses’ through the Apostle Paul in the same way He sends us today

because His Only Begotten Son is ‘in’ Paul and ‘God Who Is’ is ‘in’ Christ.
