He started out as one of the biggest persecutors of Christian men and women, and when on the road to Damascus, He was confronted by Jesus. This encounter changed his whole life. This is the day that He became a follower of Christ, and he would later end up writing most of the New Testament. The answer remains, can we trust Paul? Was Paul really an apostle? and, Can we trust Paul's teachings? These are some of the questions Daniel will answer in this video. Matthew 7:15 *Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.*
Matthew 7:16 *Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?*

Matthew 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Matthew 24:25 Behold, I have told you before.
Matthew 24:26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
Matthew 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

_Jesus says in Matt __7:16__;_ *“...Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?”*

_Paul said in;_ Galatians 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
Galatians 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Galatians 1:13 For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that *beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:*

_It appears there was no greater among the thorns and thistles than Paul who persecuted the church of God “beyond measure” and “wasted it.”_

_Jesus says in Matt __7:16__;_ *“...Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?”*

_Paul said in;_ 1 Timothy 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save *sinners; of whom I am chief.*

_Paul confirmed that there was no greater among the thorns and thistles for he was the chief of sinners._

_Jesus says in_ Matthew 24:23 *Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.*

_Regardless of what Jesus had said (“...if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ ...believe it not” in Matt __24:23__) Paul wants others to believe that Jesus meet with Paul._

Acts 9:3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
Acts 9:4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
Acts 9:5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

_The road to Damascus is said to have been a desert place and may still be a desert place._

Matthew 24:26 *Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.*

_Also Jesus says_ Matthew 24:24 *For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.*

_Regardless of what Jesus' warns about signs and wonders in Matt __24:24__, Paul claims his signs of an apostle are in signs, and wonders..._

2 Corinthians 12:11 I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be nothing.
2 Corinthians 12:12 *Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought* among you in all patience, *in signs, and wonders, * and mighty deeds.

_ 6. Contradicting the Scripture =

_ The Paul offered the following reason as to why The-God has revealed the Law to Moses and the Israelites:

_ **Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God;** [ Romans 3:19 ]
- According to Paul the Law was revealed to make us realize that it is impossible to be kept!
- **And that we are therefore all guilty and accountable before The-God!**

_ Let's compare to The-God what has to say about the Law in the Old-Testament:
- **“For this commandment which I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it far away. 12 It is not in heaven, that you could say, ‘Who will go up to heaven for us and get it for us, and proclaim it to us, so that we may follow it?’ 13 Nor is it beyond the sea, that you could say, ‘Who will cross the sea for us and get it for us and proclaim it to us, so that we may follow it?’ 14 On the contrary, the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may follow it.** [ Deuteronomy 30:11-14 ]

_ **We can see that The-God says very clearly that the Law is not too difficult to obey or beyond our reach, which is the complete opposite of what Paul has claimed.**


_ **The Paul even had some very negative things to say about the Law.**
- Here he called it a "Curse":
- **For all who are of works of the Law are under a curse;...** [ Galatians 3:10 ]


_ **The Paul also had bad and evil things to say about his past effort of keeping the Law.**
- Here he referred to it as Rubbish:

_ **circumcised the eighth day, of the nation of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the Law, a Pharisee; 6 as to zeal, a persecutor of the church; as to the righteousness which is in the Law, found blameless. 7 But whatever things were gain to me, these things I have counted as loss because of Christ. 8 More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them mere rubbish, so that I may gain Christ, ** [ Philippians 3:5-8 ]

_ Again such a negativity is at odds with what the Old-Testament teaches:
- **in that I am commanding you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, so that you may live and become numerous, and that the Lord your God may bless you in the land where you are entering to take possession of it.** [ Deuteronomy 30:16 ]

_ **Here The-God stated that obeying the law will bring "Blessing and Prosperity".**
- We can see that the Paul's Teachings about the Law completely contradict the Old-Testament on MANY points.
- **Then, the Paul cannot have gotten his message from the same God who revealed and inspired the Old-Testament.**

Jesus taught LOVE and KINDNESS. Paul taught fear. Honestly....I don't think Paul saw a vision of Jesus. I think Paul saw a UFO and ( White Ball) on the road to Damascus. The Epistemological experience is similar.
