"And what if the law is WRONG?". The question we must always ask ourselves...

Pike disagreed with the law, but went about correcting the injustice by applying laws, morals and ethics with compassion.

“And what if the law is wrong.” Exactly. Those who have the ability to take action should take action. It’s up to each of us to uphold what is right.

Something about the way Chris says “Good.” just cracks me up!😂😂😂

Great argument. They're both right and wrong. Blindly following rules is never good, especially for a commander. Just letting people slide when they break the rules doesn't work either. Compromise is key.

Subspace keeps the CAPTAINS HAIR IN SOME TYPE OF FORCE FIELD.

Maturity is being able to ask if the rules are wrong and saying yes....sometimes. The world is not black and white, but the law tries to make you think it is. In reality it's all shades of grey.

Pike is the most Aragorn of all starfleet Captains.

Know what’s unjust? Studios like Paramount not paying the writers. 😊

Season 2 gets better each episode. Best Star Trek show since DS9.

Man that carrot chop showed more attitude than when Pike told Ortegas to stand down about the Romulans!

EDIT: misspelling

It's weird for me to see Melanie play such a straight arrow goody two shoes after Wynonna Earp. 😅

Anyone else caught off guard seeing Wynonna Earp?

She should have asked to be recused, due to her relationship with Pike. But that doesn't make for drama.

I loved Discovery, and i love the continuation in SNW!

Good episode. This is what the Federation, and Star Trek, is all about. Gene Roddenberry was woke. Glad to see this show continues that.

Not as good as the first episode, but I still really enjoyed it. Felt very thematically TOS/TNG, which is no bad thing.

This is the mentality of our society in America right now! It is even showing it's self in pop culture

There's no way Captain Patel could be a serving line officer in command of a starship. The Arresting Officer of record for Una's case and the prosecutung officer at the JAG proceedings. add to that, she has an ongoing relationship with Una's Commanding Officer, and all of this screams Conflict of Interest.
