In this video, we are going over 3 ways in which you can transfer your photos and videos from your DJI Mini 3 Pro over to your smartphone, tablet, or computer. There are a few different methods and they all have their uses. We also explain the differences between the low-resolution cached video stored on the controller in the DJI Fly App and the high-quality version that gets saved on the drone's memory card. The techniques explained in this video are the same for other DJI Drones such as the Mini 3, Air 2S, and DJI Mini 2.

I rest my Mini 3 pro on a laptop cooler when I transfer my longer vids...It was $5 at a discount place...WORTH it!

Thank you for this info! I used to struggle to download it onto my icloud drive and then download it onto my phone via the icloud site, this took ages and it was a hit or miss with the large files if they even wanted to get saved to my gallery

Works fine on Android. I use a USB-c to USB-c cable. Power on my mini 3pro and connect it to my Android. The micro SD card shows up as a USB storage device and I go into DCIM and copy over what I want into my phone.

Curious if you can share info on how to transfer videos through a card reader?
With a card reader I can see the pic but it wont decode mp4 or other vids taken from the Drone. I use quick transfer but it heats up my drone. So a card reader did seem practical if we can transfer straight to lap top

Thanks for all the options. However as much as I like the drone through Fly app to tablet method, the drone may get hot as it did when I update the latest firmware and such. I ended up turning a small fan facing my drone. It's a great work around. Just saying.

When I connect the drone via USB-C directly to my iPad, nothing comes up under my files

Hey There! does the method of using smart card reader on the ipad pro work for videos off of a Mini 4 Pro? it is not working for me, but it works with videos recorded from a Mavic Air 2. i think DJI may have changed the compatibility from Mini 4 Pros. if it works, can you make a video show it?

If you’re connecting Photos Album to the Cloud then you’re sure going to need a lot of spare capacity. I prefer the Files method getting the videos onto an SSD from where it is also possible to edit in Apps such as DaVinci Resolve to name but one.

Great information Shawn, and thanks for sharing. I still find using the memory card is best way to transfer files for me, but I'm glad to have options if i'm away from home, and I forgot my memory card reader. Thanks for sharing.
