There are a few different ways to get your content over and in this video, I go over the different techniques and show you the fastest way to do it. The DJI Mavic Air 2 has 8GB of built-in storage as well as a slot for an SD card. In this video, I show you how to manage your storage locations and how to switch back and forth. I hit the jackpot on transferring data from the micro SD card in the Drone back to the PC when I discovered the high speed cards.

Thank you so much. I’ve been banging my head for 6 months trying to successfully transfer my files from my Avata to my iPad, so that I can edit in DJI fly. You’ve definitely saved my sanity, and probably my marriage as well 😜. Very much obliged for you help!

If you want to transfer quickly, you don't have to buy card readers to do it. You can also just plug a USB cable directly into the port on the side opposite the SD Card port on the MA2. I use this method when I forget to put the SD Card back into the drone and have to record videos onto the drone's internal storage. It's just as quick as the card reader method.

I like using a computer to edit much better. On the other side of the drone from the slot for the SD card is another slot for a USB C connector. I use the short charging cable that comes with the drone and plug the C connector into the drone and the USB connector into the slot of my computer. I usually "cut" the video or pictures I took and "paste" them into a folder on my computer. That way my SD card is relatively empty and always ready for more.
