how do I fix my Xbox one s turning on and turning off itself?

Yo, so what i did was put cool air down into tha fan on my xbox. I used a fan and just let it hit for like 5-10mins . I plugged it back in and it was like nothing happened. I do wonder why my xbox decided to just shit itself outta nowhere. I was on gta tha day b4 & had no issues.. weird, least i gotta say. Hope this works for y’all too🌐💰

Do it with a hair dryer on full heat for 30 seconds over the hole part and give it about thirty seconds and click the button and should work

Have/ had this problem, tried all the methods everything, best thing i found to even get it to turn over was to try holding the “ Pairing button “ and hold the on button, it didn’t work at first for me but after continuously doing it over and over it finally cut on but i will say it didn’t completely fix the problem only solved for a few hours but today it cut right on. Hope this helps anyone!

Hold the disc and the power button for a few seconds and you should be fine

I just fixed mine I blew it for about five minutes with cold air then left it for 30 minutes and it worked I think there might have been dust or something inside of it

The hairdryer worked for me. I did 30 seconds through the top vent then just quickly on the side vents.

What you have to do is you have to basically get a hairdryer and blow all the dust out of the system do you have all those little vents around the Xbox blow all the dust out the system it’s just packed with dust. You have to blow it all out and you’ll fix it.

Fir everyone who has this issue all you have to do is leave a fan on and point it at your Xbox and let it sit for an hour or more IF you spilt water or any sort of liquid on the console, I had this happen to me but all you have to do it wait for it to fully dry

This happened to mine today.. my wide and daughter bought this console for me for Christmas in 2013.. had a good run.. the third time in a row it shut off on me today I fixed it for good. I need more patience..

UPDATE just realized that was the release date of the xbox one. So had to have been a pre order and one that came from the original first batch SMH I need help with anger is what I learned most today.
I couldn't throw it away.. boxed up all the pieces and duct taped box closed for posterity

The ac to dc converter the box on tye wire should be the issue usually dust

turn it on and when the fan starts spinning a bit blow into it or get a hair dryer and blow the fan until it turns on

Lucky I switched to the series x, because my hard drive was failing (lucky I didn't lose my data and I was able to transfer it) (my one s is 7 years old)
