Lifting Better: The All New Transformer X Bar

Tune in for my latest video on the new Transformer X Bar by Kabuki Power (or what is often called a safety squat bar). Here I discuss whether or not the Transformer X Bar is an upgrade compared to the original Transformer Bar (which I am a fan of) and worthy of a place in your training arsenal. I do this by giving an overview of the bar including likes and dislikes as well as comparing it to the original Transformer Bar (I have the Rogue edition). While it's certainly debatable where or not a squat is the 'king' of exercises, it certainly is a mainstay of most great strength and physique athletes, for the simple reason that it is a very fundamental movement to build a great strength foundation. That said, any way we can enhance the squat is a welcomed addition, and in my opinion, the Transformer Bar stands out in it's ability to do this. So tune in and learn how to maximize results while decreasing unnecessary joint stress/strain. As with all content on Exerciselab: more results less pain.

Please subscribe and let me know what you think. I hope this helps.

Thorough and balanced review. Even happier with my Rogue bar than I was before:)

Excellent timing! I planned on buying the standalone “saddle” pad with straps to do belt squats and eventually with a normal barbell. Yikes on the stickers and already scratched finish on the bar, still never saying never, the customization is tempting.
