I’ve been intermittent fasting, 16:8, since February 14th of 2022. Lost 100lbs. I do have 1 cheat day but I stay at 2500 calories a day average and work out, strength training, 4 days a week. I’ve been at my current wait for about 18 months.

I’ve lost 33 kgs with 16:8 intermittent fasting, and still trying to lose more! It is the easiest way to lose weight. Trust me, I’ve tried many diets during this weight loss journey and 16:8 was the most easiest one by far. I eat 2 meals a day, one at 13.00pm. I mostly prefer a healthy sandwich such as tuna sandwich. And I eat my second meal at between 6-8pm’s. After that, I only drink water or tea (no sugar ofc) and finish the day. I don’t take more than 1000 calories because my ordinary calorie limit is 1800 according to my tests. I jump ropes 10 min a day, sometimes 20 min. After I finish my journey I will continue with this routine because I’m used to it but I will stop counting too much calories. But now I need to count because I have a long way to run. :) I must lost 20 kgs more.

edit: I’ve lost 8 more kilograms since I’ve written this comment! But now I continue with the 20:4 If program and it took me just a month to lose 8 kilograms. Still need to lose 13 more to reach my dream body, I will edit this next month! (Today is June 9)

Started intermediate fasting.. it's totally a game changer.Drinking lots of water helps with hunger bangs during fast. Simple Homecooked meals with portion control makes weight loss faster.

I am doing 8am till 4pm. A good breakfast and lunch is good for my body. I also have snacks during those 2 meals. I skip dinner, when I think about it I don’t really need to fill my stomach in the night anyway

2nd day of doing 16:8 fasting. i ate lunch at 11am (normal lunch) 3pm eggs or oatmeal with milk 7pm chicken or fish or just oatmeal or eggs 😁 and after that more water👍

I started the 16/8 intermittent fasting 6 weeks ago and have lost 10 pounds without much effort otherwise.( I'm in my 70s and can't overdo exercise or dieting.) I've modified my routine by finding homemade teas that I can drink to prevent hunger and blood sugar dives. I find I feel so much better in general with improved sleep, energy and digestion etc. And, since I'm only eating about half as much, i need to grocery shop about half as often! 😊

My 16/8 is from 10:00 am to 6 pm. I have pure coffee with no sugar early morning. At 10:00 am I eat one fruit, at 12:30 I eat lunch and at 6 pm dinner. I still eat some carbs but in small amounts and not every day. In one week I lost 1 kg and 100 g. I only need to loose 5 kg. So I like to go slow and steady.

This has actually worked for me. I started July 2023 and now in January 2024 down 36 pounds. I adjust my fast on the weekend. So I can still enjoy life. lol

The hardest part of any diet plan is starting it! Don't put it off, get into a time rhythm and watch the change in your body. I do midday - 8pm as my eating window and i find it so easy. I'm in bed most weekday nights by 9.30pm and early to bed does help.
For fast results combine it with the 5:2 diet, on 2 days keep your calories to 800, I promise fast results!

I needed to start with 12 hour fasting for 2 weeks before moving to 8:16… it definitely helped me. I’m in my 4th week and feeling alitte better about things for sure.
