Excellent video Dr Becky ... as always. Applying the information in this video together with your 0, 1, 2, 3 strategy would in themselves drastically improve the diet and health of most people. If done along with intermittent fasting ... which I know you also strongly recommend, you have in a nutshell outlined a great weight loss plan that almost anybody could easily follow . Well done!

I use net carbs, but I only deduct fiber and not anything else, and count that in, so my count of carbs is usually higher than what the manufacturers include. I think you're right about all the sugar alcohols. I feel like I get a "must-have-carbs" kind of hunger if I have things with sugar alcohols, so I tend to avoid them.

Thank you for doing this video. I think it is important for folks to know this and to take it into consideration when eating treats. One thing I might add, is that ALL of the carbs in those cakes are a part of the total calorie makeup. Just because those net carbs are lower, that does not mean calories are lower. Changing up the game to meet the net carb standard could be a boon to someone who is looking for ways to shift more stubborn weight.

As a person who has struggled with IBS/SIBO, I avoid sugar alcohols. They make me absolutely miserable. I guess this is a good thing :-)

I don’t trust any sweetener ending in ‘ose’ and since the FDA says it’s ‘GRAS’ I definitely don’t trust it. Thanks for another informative vid Dr Becky!

Very interesting I didn't know you counted total. I think I may switch to that to get the scale moving again. My son tried thay cake as a special treat and he didn't like it at all. I think his taste buds are changing. :) keep UK p the great content very informative! I hit a -128lb total weightloss this lifestyle is very easy to follow!

You're the sweetest thing out there . And your totally 0 carbs. New subscriber ..trying to stick to low carb or keto To deal with metabolic syndrome High triglycerides ect. Doing Intermittent fasting.18-6. You are very encouraging, ,because keto is very hard, so I really try to keep my carbs down the best I can.
