Wow. Thanks. I went through multiple years of not having emotional support from parents, stopped seeking it, and now I'm a "prude" for it. Great. Just great.

Absolutely SPLENDID guidance! And all actions that don't require complicated rituals or costly apparatus yet payoff in quality of life measure.

I particularly appreciated that you stated "get YOUR sleep" (not _get exactly 8 hours sleep_ ) as everyone has different sleep requirements. Excessive sleep over one's individual requirement is as bad(or worse) than too little.

The body is such a complex structure with different mechanisms that is not even a piece of cake to understand it thoroughly, I just love learning more about the human structure and to realize dopamine is a chemical that makes you feel good is such a fascinating mechanic our body can produce. What a wonderful video to educate our minds and extend our knowledge towards the structure of the human mind and how to use it.

I personally rarely comment on social media in general but thanks for this. Really glad this was posted after I'm disciplining myself into doing the thing i love which is breaking (dance).

You could say i just did 80% of what you just described. Always a pleasure learning from your content!!!

I've taken my last rinse in the shower as cold for over 15 years; it does the job of lighting up all kinds of pleasure centers. I get a big boost from the cold, my skin pores close up, my scalp tingles with new blood rushing around and I figured if it was good enough to help Katherine Hepburn keep her athleticism longer, it's certainly good enough for me! Took about a month before my body actually reminded me that the cold at the end would feel REALLY GOOD. Basically, it's a nice boost to a wakeup call

Disclaimer to number 7:
Don’t try something new when it’s about drugs or anything that will harm you in the long run. I had that feeling of trying to smoke after a friend told me to try it out while we’re taking a walk and i had the exact dopamine feeling. Just don’t.

I really do number 1: get some tunes going, all the time. Literally. Thanks for sharing that.

Ask yourself, do I have relaxation built into my day? This will take different forms for different people. It will even take different forms on different days for you. The key is choosing something that you know is deeply good for you.

Blending relaxation into your weeks, month after month, year after year, will add up. This balance will actually keep you healthier and stave off depression and anxiety over time.

So find some joy today. Repeat tomorrow, and watch that balance seep into your months and years. Get ready to look back on a life well spent.

Thanks, Psych2Go, for this video. I was listening it carefully and I came to the conclusion that I lacked several items from your list. For example, I listened to one of my favorite songs about Dopamine like a week ago, and when I listened to it after watching your 10 habit video, I felt a rush of adrenaline 🤗.

This actually is what got me of my long sadness from my middle school years, just do what makes you happy. I remember vividly that I would sit down at lunch, waiting for minutes on end just for lunch to end so I could continue on with my day. I could see other students talking to others or even others playing in the basketball court but I was too sad to bother. That same year lead to probably the worst summer vacation I had, to the point where that I felt worthless and abandoned. I'm not sure when but around when I started my second year in high school, my motivation and feelings were made clear. I liked talking to other people, especially within my interests but I'm also not afraid to talk about subjects that I'm not familiar with. From that point forward, I was content of how I turned out. I'm happy of how I turned out, but I know that there are experiences that I have yet to know.
