As a rock climber, I fully agree with this method of training pull-ups. This is the way that I’ve taught several people that cannot do pull-ups to get good at them.

You made a tiktok about this and a year later it helped me a lot, I was only able to do 3 pull ups but saw you saying add negatives, weight, and explosives, and I can now do over 20

i know, that u preach against pulldowns for increasing pullup strength, but i personally never did anything else besides pulldowns and now i can do about 3, chin over the bar, pullups at 110kg bodyweight. just saying that not everbody is the same in that regard. besides that, i appreciate ur content and the side of fitness u preach ♥

When I started last year I was able to do 3 per set and I doubled it always wondered how can I get it to 10 and more like the peeps I see on yt. Thank you so much will try this <3

Did you ever hear about mcguill pull up progression? Can you talk about it? It is basically doing a pull up then resting from 15 to 20 secs then doing another one, 1 set from 6 to 8 or 8 to 10 and so on. Do this once or twice a week then after 5 weeks you try to do it without resting.
