I went from 265 down to 170. I've been stuck here even though I do a hour cardio in the morning and a hour weights at night. I truly hope this helps me drop the stubborn lower belly fat. It just will not flatten out . I will try this diet break.

Perfect video for where I'm at now. I lost over 30 pounds over the last year plus but I've been stuck at my current range for quite a while. I went through that same thinking that once I hit the 160s, I'd be done. Nope, probably still have at least another 10 pounds to go. (I'm 5'9") I have already started my diet break while trying to maintain my current set point. My plan is to stay here for a couple months and give my body a chance to recharge before starting the next phase.

Great video Paul. Thanks for uploading. I was binge watching some of your old videos, while doing cardio at the gym last night, and your energy level does indeed seem much higher these days (speech pattern/hand movements). Very cool. Thanks for showing us what’s possible.

My lower back is definitely the most stubborn area on my body when it comes to fat loss. Drives me nuts.

Great advice thank you
my high season for work forced me to take a two month break literally but I just got back into my routine slowly working my way back and I’m starting to see results

So true Paul it seems sometimes when I take a break from going being so strict and don't train as much people tell me I'm looking really good. I'm like why? I've been slack comparative to the norm..

Cardio every day and proper macros work for me no refeed nessesity. Chest and shoulders lean out first. Then arms and upper back, after that goes the lower ab and back fat.

Once youve done it before you understand the process. Just keep going

When you're doing well on a diet, even if it's stalled, this is a very hard thing to do psychologically

Hey Paul! I missed out on that seminar in Dallas, I would have loved to met you! Is there somewhere you announce where you're gonna be at these seminars in the future?

Cardio everyday 30 min at 60-70% max and eat clean. That’s it.

So counterintuitive to increase calories and decrease cardio when your goal is to lose body fat, but it’s so crucial to take these sometimes. Should never expect it but sometimes people drop fat during the break too (as you saw with me every time. Lol) I still have all that data! Cool to look back at sometimes.

I am a woman with belly fat, gain fat mostly around my torso. I am 40, about 128-130 lbs. I dont have a scale at the moment😅. But I have lost 2.5 inches on my waste over 6 weeks with calorie counting and pilates/yoga. I went from 30.5 to 28. but been eating about 1800 to 2000 calories a day. I cant go lower as I get lethargic and get cravings if I go any lower. And currently trying to maintain at 2200 - 2300 for my vacation and sanity. I really do need those calories to function at work, and not get depressed, and I have a desk job. I used to do 1600 calorie diets in the past, and always was tired and cranky. I like your focus on individual needs, and diet breaks. I think I need to get down to 26 inches waist before I am happy, as I still have back fat. But it does take time for sure. Hoping to get another six weeks in after my vacation break :) But six weeks was a long time for me to cook all my foods and track my macros, and shop lean protein plan meals and be diligent. However it has become second nature to weigh my foods, and I have found creative ways to cook. So that way it will be easier in 2.5 weeks when I continue my diet agein. I will also lift weights when I start up again, as my arms and legs are quite thin, so by exercising them I might balance out my body type a little bit, so I dont have to lose too much to look balanced 😂
