Healthy does not mean low calorie. Nuts are packed with amazing nutrients to help your body functioning properly. Balance is key

I’ll say this: 1) You can’t spot treat fat so keep that in mind. 2) popcorn over nuts might be a better low cal alternative but nuts are definitely healthier.

I mix Ratio 25g protein Greek yogurt with a scoop of Jocko protein powder 22g, BananaCream until it has the texture of soft ice cream. Delicious! That’s 47 g of protein in a snack! With only 4 g of total sugar.

I eat a balanced diet:
• Fresh lemon*in water first thing in the morning
• Fruit/nuts for breakfast - oats in Winter
• Fish/chicken/egg (or legume/pulses) + salad/vegetables + potato/rice/pasta for lunch
• Coffee ‘n cake/chocolate for supper 😂!
* Add fresh ginger/honey & cayenne pepper in Winter !

People are always saying eat oats, but you have to add stuff to oats or it taste like crap!

I actually did this and lost weight. I do eat nuts and dried fruits but occasionally, not everyday like I used to.

8 months ago I cut down on sugar, alcohol and refined carbs. I’ve dropped 15lbs, 4inches from waistline.
I eat almonds almost every day, raw and unsalted.
I’m an avid runner. Always moving, active etc.. but I’m convinced it’s nutrition that is the key to loosing the fat.

I grew up in a fruit block and we cut stone fruit and dried them, there's so much sugar (& sulphur) in the dried

I agree with the fruit 🍎 and oatmeal 🥣, but not the nuts 🌰 over popcorn 🍿 . Popcorn makes me feel like I’m eating empty calories- has virtually no nutritional value and usually has oils. At least if I eat several nuts I feel more satiated. I mainly eat nuts high in minerals like almonds.

🎉🎉🎉 lots of people in the comments don’t get it yet 😂. It took me a while too. You said these things are healthy but they are high in calories so it can prevent fat loss because folks don’t realize how many calories they are consuming. People will literally snack with mix nuts and think it’s okay but they are loading up the calories. Eat 3-4 walnuts for the day and that’s it. Anything above that and you are hurting yourself if you want to loose fat. It’s about calories in vs calories out.

I agree with you on two out of three of these examples but nuts are packed with healthy fats & protein. Just have a smaller serve. I eat a handful per day. Popcorn cannot compete. You’re better off looking at the macros than calorie counting in my opinion.
