Today was my first day of getting on the treadmill for this schoolyear. I need to do it for my health so I decided that silent reading time is mom on the treadmill time. But I'm still not done with my day. Time to read Witch of Blackbird Pond for book club on Thursday. My SN daughter needs help in almost everything but I got a 30 minute walk in and lifted weights. Win. Baby steps. Consistency.

You really are my favorite source for all things *Get Fit and Healthy*. I’m 51, just started lifting dumbbells only at home, while recovering from 2 ruptured discs in my lower back. Happy to say I’ve finally healed enough that I’m comfortable trying RDL’S and your form tips are priceless. I also really like the idea of combining some of these compound movements. My workouts tend to be pretty long because I’m still doing all my physical therapy exercises, warm ups for other body parts, and I try to get in a little cardio in after strength training….so I definitely appreciate any way to shave a little time off. Thanks for all the great content.
