Through the years, I’ve learned that what I do in the morning can have a major impact on how my digestive system functions later in the day. Watch this video to learn the 5 things I practice daily in the morning for a flatter belly and healthier gut! =)

1) Don’t eat immediately upon waking up
2) Drink at least 2 glasses of water on an empty stomach

Video summary:

Bloating is a buildup of gases, liquids and solids.

Solutions:
1- Don't eat immediately on waking up. Consume breakfast 1-2 hours later.
2- Drink at least 2-3 glasses on waking up.
3- Prebiotic and probiotic supplements (sponsored--I think we can all just benefit by eating some walnut, yoghurt and oats daily).
4- Mini morning workout. Low impact and low intensity. You can go for a walk.
5- Sip on green tea throughout the day.

Drinking first thing in the morning is something that I learned helps me as well. Not to prevent bloating, but just in general to wake up, to feel better. Warm water in the winter is also great to stay warm.

I am a Moslem and we are on our Ramadhan month, so basically before fasting in the day we need to eat during 3-4 am. I always got bloated in the morning and it is VERY uncomfortable. I'm so glad that I found your channel!

Amazing. I tried this today: drank 1 big cup of water when I woke up, went for a small 15 min walk and then I had breakfast. After I finished, it made me to go the toilet after 5 min. Its definitely a good recipe for anyone thats dealing with constipation and bloating

The most reasonable explanation to my gut issues I’ve heard in a long time Joanna and it makes perfect sense. I was in Japan in 2019 and no wonder Japanese women have such a beautiful skin and figures given the diet and skincare routine. Well done - super useful video
