amazing this creates illusion in your mind to row your elbow below your hips and activating lats easily.. damn my lats burn after doing that.. thank you for this

So do you not wrap your thumb around? Looks like you're holding it how u should hold a lat pull down with thumbs not wrapped around?

dumbbell row (and horizontal row in general) is primarily an upper back exercise, not lat exercise. You don't need to tweak it for more lat activation, when you already have vertical pulling exercises like pull up for that.

not so long ago two guys at my gym almost got into a fight because one of them was doing rows in front of the rack. Both were on juice. One was small (body size) and as wide as tall, and the other was super tall and just massive. It was kinda funny watching them while doing chest flies.
