Hey Mike!
Thanks for these, you should repost them in YouTube shorts section so they keep relooping!

These are really great! I just wish they were a little longer and more detailed

Do you sit back as if you're going to sit on your ankles or do you lean onto your supporting hand?

Can you please show these exercises with a working weight? Seeing Jared DB row 20 lbs kind of doesn’t mean anything in terms of form. Anyone can DB row that weight with peak perfect form. I want to see how the form is adapted to a weight that puts real strain on the body.

Why to the hip and not straight up to the chest? Just curious. Thanks.

The lat is a triangular shaped muscle... to work the entire lat, the dumbbell row needs to be done diagonally... any other options makes it a incomplete exercise!

So after not seeing any response to my original comment. To anyone trying this exercise with more than 50lbs, don’t try to use Jared’s form. This is a joke. The only way you’re rowing a 70 from in front of your chest all the way to peak contraction beside your hip for more than 10 is a joke. Idc how strong you are.

Just do lat pushdowns with a straight bar if that’s what you’re trying to accomplish. This exercise in this form is impossible to keep your core braced for 15 reps straight, it starts to burn your stabilizing shoulder on the bench, your back starts to over arch with heavier weight.

Anyways the point is, unless you’re doing a 20 lb dumbbell, good luck trying to row from in front of your chest to behind your hip for more than 10 reps.
