Running the FASTEST MILE EVER! | 6-Week 'Run Faster' Training Program COMPLETE

After 6x weeks of training dedicated to running my fastest mile ever, it all came down to this! I shaved off TONS of time from my initial baseline 1-mile test run at 5:40. The "Run Faster" training program, itself, is extremely comprehensive and effective, and without a doubt gives legit results for speed. Thanks to everyone who has followed along as I put the program to the test!

About 2 weeks ago I was approached by my new CO and asked if I wanted to go to ranger school in January... like 2 weeks from now. I of course said yes and have been scrounging to get everything off my packing list together. I was just about to get a rangerpack and I saw that you had uploaded this video, I watched it when it was newly posted "1 hour ago" and thought to myself. Nah I shouldn't comment, probably won't win. But my wife is pushing me to, thankfully I have her. Hoping to knock out ranger school then middle of next year go to SFRE then on to SFAS. Best wishes, thanks for all the tips.

Shower before you run if you're going for time. Your oils on skin decrease oxygen intake.
Do the groin stretch seated before situps. You can bang out 3-5 more.

Good stuff man. I've been training and got my 1 mile to a 6:10. My long time goal is for a 3 mile in 18mins.

I'm definitely going to check out your workout plan once I'm back from NTC and there's less snow on the roads.

Pre workout on an empty stomach is the play; just like alcohol, it hits harder when fasted💯
