Agreed with everything except the 3 hrs response time. Minimum response time is 24 hrs

This is when it comes down to being your own client first. And if what you see isn't good enough in your eyes, it isn't going to be good to your clients as well. Reputation is everything.

Missing deadlines is never good, even if you work for yourself!

From my perspective, it's unreasonable to expect email responses within three hours. People need to have blocks of time to get deep focus work done or attend to their family. Other communication that can be expected, like text or messenger apps, but those expectations should be established ahead of time.

Fixing to start a new business in the same trade that I have been in for about 30 years now but I’m going to branch out in the area I’ve never been before so I have been binging on your videos for a few weeks now and I am really really thrilled with the amount of knowledge that you give and share on your channel, it is very much appreciated and very easy to comprehend I am in the flooring industry and I also have a YouTube channel where I teach as well, Anyway the flooring industry is completely different than the industry that you are in but I can still take your techniques and apply them to my business and I have learned so much from you. I am in a market where I will be pricing my jobs two or three times higher than anyone in my area and I have learned techniques from you that I believe will make it so much easier to do and accomplish with the skills that I have achieved over the years. I have a great hand skills but my business side of me is lacking a lot

Chris: I don't work for free, that includes doing an "assignment" to get hired. Pay me to do the assignment, if you like what I did, hire me, if not, don't hire me.

Agreed with everything until the answer within 3hours part.

It's difficult for juniors to have a specialty when 90% of employers only want people with BROAD knowledge and skills. Specializing your work is a privilege of those with more industry background/experience.

expecting an answer in less than 3 hours at any time of the day is not realistic.

Being responsive is huge. With my merchants, my YouTube comments, Instagram comments and so on. Even if you don't have the immediate solution or answer at least be responsive so they know you're working on it.

Say what you do and do what you say.

1.) Specify what you do. (Do not overwhelm your employer, pick one or two things you're good at.)
2.) Deliver what you say you can do. (Ensure your skills are up to par with what you've presented.)
3.) Fast response and punctuality are extremely important.
Did I get it right?

Email response within 3 hours? For anything? What if the question requires designers to estimate stuff - do you want to hire a company that pulls people off their work every time they get an email?

BenRangel

To be honest I wouldn't want to work with you if having to wait 3 hours to get a reply on an email is an offense to you. Fully agree with the other points though.

Your videos have really diminished in quality. Even if the content is good, it feels disingenuous and it shows with your amount of views. The design elements are pretty in need of an upgrade sir.

What did you expect when you offered me $5 on Fiverr to create a logo?

Not gonna lie, some photos of this guy walking on the beach would help his brand.

Hiya, guys. I need to make this call about declining a job, because I don't feel I am capable enough to do it great. I remember that Chris did a short video of how we should approach this situation, but cannot find it. Can you help a bit?
