1. Bad form
2. Not enough volume
3. Working through pain

I don't know, I believe the reason why I haven't been getting stronger is because of my training: being inconsistent. I have been following a Conjugate kind of split having Max Effort days and DE/Volume days and I find myself being inconsistent by not progressing with the assistance exercises and with the main DE exercises, instead switching into different variations and trying out new things too much. I look to fix this!

a personal mistake i made when first starting out and even till today but with lesser degree was "Impatience" result simply dont come within a few weeks or even months depending on your overall goal. give your body time to adapt to new situations and specially to new forms of training. our bodies our amazingly well tuned for adaptation. it simply takes time.

patience would be my advice to you.

Good video PicFit. I liked it at 2:10 when you color coded the barbell plates to indicate if a load was "scary" heavy (red) or "mellow" moderate (yellow). I'm also loving the point summary at the end of the video. Helpful reference. And proud to be on the banner at the bottom of the page. It's a clever way of giving props to the Patreon crew. Happy Hump Day.

Reason why I’m not getting stronger: I’ve binge watched every picturefit video

Biggest mistake I’ve done is not staying hydrated. Normally, especially when you’re running, the need to rehydrate is almost an urge. But sometimes in strength training, you don’t feel thirst right away. Dehydration sets in and you have trouble sleep and then when you do hydrate, you get doms. Moral of the story, stay hydrated and keep your pee clear

The thing is for most natural lifters
More muscle mass = more potential for strength
Hence even if you don't work to the best efforts, if you have increased muscle mass you WILL be stronger.

One thing to keep in mind too is your natural genetic limit for strength and even though you've hit a plateau you still must stay consitent to maintain that size & strength. Top Notch Video Bro!

This answers a question I had about whether building muscle (i.e. hypertrophy) affected somehow strength.
