The BFG is so wonderful to go back to. I loved Laura Dean, I think it was really perfect how it didn't make the story about romance and instead about Freddie dealing with her situation. Great video :)

Meddling Kids sounds right up my alley. I love this new trend of looking at these pieces of media from (my) childhood and examining them in a way that points out how silly they were, especially considering how serious those pieces could be if they weren't for kids.

Oh wow, a whole podcast on the beyond series? I'm intrigued! I read Beyond Shame years and years ago and there's a boxset of the first 3 books sitting in my kobo... It might be time to revisit. By the way, I love how diverse your reading tastes are. Very refreshing.
